I picked MVP to win because he’s just a bad match up for Bullet.

Bullet didn’t have much to fall back on when striking wasn’t going his way and his striking itself while being entertaining, still needs some work to be effective against the next level of fighters IMO. I remember one guy just eating his leg kicks without even reacting to them, let alone attempting to check them. That made Bullet look good, but it made me think it made that fighter look more so bad considering he was giving his best impression as a punching bag.

Not an attempt to crap on Bullet. He can be exciting, but he’s showing holes in his game that hopefully he corrects for his sake. Not his fault he was being hyped up prior though. He has a cool pirate look with one eye lol. Fans like it.

When it came to MVP he needed to box more and work more clinch work, he was too passive there.

Exposed? He lost a boring ass decision (both fighters fought like shit imo), neither fighter did anything to show they wanted to finish the other guy. It was a very boring and stalemate fight by both guys, no one looks good against MVP except guys who push him, Shara for some reason refrained from pushing for most of the fight and when he did MVP ran, or Shara found success.

MVP probably the worst match up ever in hindsight for a fighter with one eye. Shara had all sorts of problems as MVP was lightning quick coming into range. I don't think he even saw him most of the time

I've never seen a fighter not get hit in the head by an opposing striker through 2 rounds of a stand-up fight. Even crazier considering Bullet was 15-0. Bullet looked baffled.

People may complain that Page was point fighting but he was lasering Bullet in the face.

That's no accident, his lengthy limbs, lightening speed and low hands baffle fighters and they become almost frozen. Look at Kevin Holland, he was unrecognisable facing MVP.

I think Whittaker's style would work quite well against MVP actually.

Not sure if Shara was exposed or not. I think he's absolutely shown us he's pretty one dimensional right from the jump and not the most technically sound. He's aggressive, takes chances, and is plenty hitable which makes for a lot of action and fun. He ran into a guy that's a crafty vet who hasn't really lost a step so I don't think the outcome was all that surprising.

If you want to see someone really getting found out, watch Payton Talbot's last fight.

This was always a bad fight for shara. Mvp fights in and out with lots of feints. It’s that karate style. Shara fights well against guys who want to straight box him or stand in front of him. That’s not mvp at all. He doesn’t fight in a phone booth and won’t play rock em sock em robots. I saw someone mention how wonderboy should go up and fight shara next. Guess what? Thst is exactly how wonderboy fights too with the same karate style as mvp. He might not be as quick twitch as mvp but it’s the same style. Shara would struggle with wonderboy too. If you want to see shara win then have him fight a boxer who likes to stand in the pocket and not move.

Woah... thats a bold statement... i don't think MVP is even close to that good... maybe you are right. I think Rob, DDP, Sean, Izzy, 40 year old Wonderboy, Jack DM, Leon Edwards....
.. a lot of guys could beat him with zero takedown attempts .. Shara Bullet could have won if he didnt just stare at him like a scared idiot.. Pages leg was messed up.

Talk about bold statements, Edwards is usually very low output Imagine him against MVP he would do absolutely nothing the entire fight. Rob isnt fast enough to deal with him and the same goes for DDP but he could land one of his big windmills and clip him, like he does to everybody.
Sean would be a good matchup, but Jack is not on his level either.
None of these guys should be favored in a standup match against him.
