Shara exposed by old guy

Not sure if Shara was exposed or not. I think he's absolutely shown us he's pretty one dimensional right from the jump and not the most technically sound. He's aggressive, takes chances, and is plenty hitable which makes for a lot of action and fun. He ran into a guy that's a crafty vet who hasn't really lost a step so I don't think the outcome was all that surprising.

If you want to see someone really getting found out, watch Payton Talbot's last fight.

exactly. Anyone who thinks Shara was expose-able is likely just beginning to watch MMA.

Huh, I wish there were more fighters who fought like that. It's cool seeing different styles in mma instead of everyone being a wrestler in a muai thai stance. Perreira and Adesanya were a breath of fresh air with their kickboxing chops, but everyone in the UFC who has a different striking approach is pushing 40 now.

I hear you, I was a big fan of Machida and his style was unique and multifaceted and to me exciting. Personally I don't like the bladed stance and style of bouncing in and out and just landing enough to win while running out of the pocket or tieing up and quickly retreating to safety.

It's the same as lay n pray for me and I hate the argument that it's in the other guy bc he can't stop it.... Correct to an extent but it's the initial intention of basically avoiding a fight in the first place that pisses me off

It will give you a more complete understanding of where this guy really is, or should be as far as his ranking. I expect him to drop to 15, or even right out of the top 15.

I figured any proficient wrestler that came along, and Shara would get beat easily. But I wasn’t really expecting how he was losing on the feet to an older striker.

For educational purposes. I’d say watch it. It’s only 15 minutes.
