If my local 7/11 can manage to install glass barriers, then I imagine the most powerful country the world has ever seen could build a fish tank for Trump to blather out of. This is nothing but manipulating optics.

Biden didn't make it through the debate. Did he ever even finish a single thought? He mostly rambled on about his son being addicted to drugs or something, and then just outright told the moderator he wasn't answering questions on policy. I can't remember much more of his performance than that. They should have just let him do an open statement for 2 minutes and then leave, because that's all the content he had.

Weird. It wasn't too long ago that people were insisting that Joe would refuse to debate and it was a sign of weakness. I said it wouldn't do anything for him so it was pointless.

Fast forward and I was wrong. Debating Trump actually made Joe look better even without a fact-checker. And now Trump is the one refusing to debate.

People frequently claim that Trump supporters are projecting their fears/concerns onto others and this seems like a decent example of that.

The VP debate was the "policy" debate. The actual presidential debates were just to see if Biden can hold it together for that length of time, and they still had to hire a "moderator" who interned for one of the candidates and change the format, and also change the voting format

You're so full of shit and you know it. Since when has the VP debate ever been "the policy debate" ? Why are you covering up for your guy's flagrant ineptitudes? Trump cannot debate policy because he is incompetent in the role of POTUS. He doesn't have a handle of the issues, he doesn't know how to lead, he isn't any of the thinga you try so hard to convince yourself he is.

imagine the VP debate without their back and forth. 2 minutes of each person completely ignoring the question and reciting prepared lines into a screen without interruption. Repeat for 60 minutes.
