Love his personality, though.

I agree, but he makes it work, usually plotting forward like that is a great way to get KO’d or taken down, but for whatever reason it works for him.

I recently watched Strickland's last fight with Hall and I think this guy is really setting himself up for an embarrassing defeat. He was getting hit with clean shots early before Uriah Hall broke. He fancies himself a striker but he has very basic skills and average power

You know when I see dominant champs like Khabib and Valentina talking about always training with a head gear on and how important it is, and then see someone like Dom Reyes coming off two KO loses in a row sparring like that, it all makes sense.

Strickland gets a lot of hate, but I think this was a quality sparring session. It’s annoying to have a sparring partner talk crap and walk you down, but trust me, they are usually the first sparring partners you thank after a tough fight.

He's very durable, mentally made for fighting, has great timing on his straight punches, and has pretty good head movement.

That and his pace really can fatigue his opponent. Always in their face.

Sean was being the ideal sparring partner. He was motivating Reyes and encouraging him to work hard, reminding him of the time left on the clock...I do these things too when I spar.

Yeah idk what problem people are seeing here tbh. Looks like good work and the kind of push from guy that knows how to win in the octagon that’s youd hope to get

Valentina it was on the JRE interview she did some months ago, Khabib in one of those AKA video said that he never spars without his headgear and hes been using the same one since he started his career.
