It was the over hands and the elbows 100% ..

Just looking for excuses and sympathy like Colby

Wait, you haven't watched the clip of DDP landing a jumping headbutt similar to Conor landing shoulder strikes on Cowboy? And then immediately after Strickland is leaking like a faucet?

How does a headbutt from below cause a cut from above ...

YOUS THE DUMMY

Dricus was just using his most reliable body part which is his hard head. Looks like an unintentional clash of heads but still very unfortunate.

What stops the 6th round from being a split? And what stops the fight from ending up a draw?
idk encourage them with an extra bonus 50k to whoever gets a finish and if a split then its a split, draw a draw. I personally hate titles changing hands because one or two judges are retarded. It feels like a draw anyways. Doesn't Glory do overtime rounds?

Maybe he would have won if he didn't backpedal the whole fight being content to counter with arm punches.

If Sean is going to primary box he should learn how to throw other punches like hooks and uppercuts properly. The way he throws hooks reminds me of Dom Cruz

Fighters already don't care enough about money to put on the best performance they can. If they win they get twice as much money than if they lose. I would think it would be automatic that you'd want to finish 100% of your fights. Plus every fighter knows they hand out certain bonuses but we still see boring sparring matches or guys playing it safe. Money isn't the issue.

This kind of reply just makes you look ignorant when it comes to mma. You simply do not understand, or cannot comprehend what you are watching. Dricus face was fucked post fight, the same as everyone else that fights Strickland. You cannot accomplish that with "Arm punches"

For comparison, Darren Till cracked Dricus with several very hard shots when they fought. Say what you want about him, Darren Till can bang. Barely a mark on Dricus face.

It's hilarious that irrefutable proof of the cut appearing before any alleged headbutt is shown, and then a bunch of mongs continue to whine about it because they think facts are dependent on their feelings.

Strickland should have won the decision but this headbutt nonsense is demonstrably fake news.

your offense should've consisted more than 95% of jabs, and you should've stood your ground and fought in the pocket in some of those exchanges that DDP was trying to force. no matter who you think won, you have to admit it's not a good look to be retreating and defending the majority of the fight while your only offense is a jab.
I haven't seen the fight but from the sound of it vintage Sean was back doing the backwards man dance? All credit because that jab did damage from the pictures, but his style has always been kind of like that when it comes to fights. He won the Izzt fight because he came forward and put the two behind it for a change. I was hoping the trash talk would get him to fight forward again.

i though he said fight to the de@th
he backpedalled and fought defensively for 4.5 rounds
his best rd was rd1
fifth round he fought and gone wild for seconds
and thats about it

lol sean

he did really well. like i wouldn't have been upset if he got the decision, and i don't even think he had to come forward the entire time. i think really all he had to do was pick a few of the times DDP initiated an exchange and win the exchanges. had he sat in the pocket on like 4-5 of those exchanges over the course of the fight and pieced DDP up in them, just keep doing what he was doing but every now and then surprise DDP and stay in the pocket, i think his chances of winning the exchanges and solidifying a win would've been favorable for him. either that or if he sharpened up his counter game, he could've hurt DDP countering some of those body kicks DDP kept throwing from too close. but alas he didn't.

even his own corner asked him to pick up the pace after the 3rd and 4th rds, but he never really did until the end of the 5th. if you like close contested kickboxing matches in MMA it's a pretty good watch. if you're expecting a blow for blow brawl it's not that kind of entertainment.

It happened the way it did. It isn't unhappening.

Step 1, buds.
