He has no pop on the feet and charges when throwing.

IMO tonight was his best performance. His ability to chop away at Leon from multiple positions and soften him up can't be overlooked. It's what opened up the finish.

Well tbh, he's a monster on top. He always was. I do think Din Thomas is a pretty good coach working with grapplers like Gillian, and now Brady and I think they were talking about working on gnp with top control and it clearly showed.

Apparently he is a lot better on the feet and he said sometime it isn't showing in his fights, but maybe it's starting to show up. I think that one punch, out of three punch combination, I think it was, that landed on Leon, kinda shifted the dynamic slightly and then Leon got destroyed.

Brady was just a lot, lot better than people gave him credit for. Kinda like Ankalaev I guess.

And then when you lose to them, you were never good LMAO.

I think as belal showed, if you can match his strength, you can stop the TDs. He just runs over people. He's a tank.

Khamzat is a russian tank that cannot be stopped but just the fuel tank is kinda sus if that makes sense lol.

You know, I won't say I've been on the bandwagon, but I liked Colby when he was coming up, and no one really liked Colby. Same with Merab. I've been on the bandwaggon of his.

It's just odd to me how little love Brady gets when he is technically better than Merab on the feet lol.

Even compared to Colby, I feel like there's a lot less love.

Also, I know he got kinda ragdolled by the other guy, but people underestimate he beat Emeev or whatever his name is that Russian guy a while back.

He also beat Kevin at WW.

The Burns that Khamzat fought and the one that JDM fought are not remotely the same fighter. Dude was never the same after fighting Khamzat.

I don't know. Khamzat ain't subbing Brady. I just don't know Khamzat's gas tank status, you know? It's looking like Brady can go five.

I do think Khamzat would have probably done that and to Leon.

But Brady would have posed a very interesting challenge that I wanted to see in 2020 lol.

He would have been KO'ed standing likely i imagine or khamzat would have won a decision. Khamzat has power in his hands and has hurt or KO'ed several guys when he decides to throw. He just is much better at grappling than the majority of the guys he will fight so he takes the road of least resistance in most cases

That guillotine wasn't "out of nowhere". It's a modified one that heavy top control guys have used before. You gotta be strong AF to do it (and it helps when your opponent has been ragdolled and had their soul taken for 3 rounds previous like Leon last night). But it was obvious he was going for it. Cutting off the blood on the opposite carotid with your body like that from half guard isn't something most guys can do, but someone with crushing top pressure can.

I guess we'd never know for sure, but Khamzat likely shuts his game down entirely and imposes his own. The only question is can Brady weather the storm and if it is a five rounder, can he find his way back?

Until we see that Khamzat has some good cardio, I wouldn't entirely say Brady can't win cuz Brady is tough and he got some heart too. He a grinder. But on paper, he is definitely outgunned and I'd be surprised if Brady would be able to.

Brady's gas tank sucked in 2020 too. He was exhausted and worthless by rd 2 vs Belal.

I **think** he got the nose surgery that DDP got to where he can now breath through his nose properly. And that's why his cardio went from dogshit to good.

It was looking sus against Chiesa too. But it's looking like he has it. I don't know if that's the reason, but cardio makes cowards out of men, and when someone who is a grinder with bjj like that got cardio to go with it, it can be a tough out.

Thats really the thing with khamzat too, if he can't fix his cardio, he will eventually run into someone he can't finish early.

I don't know either. The guy who fought last night? Not sure I'd truly favor any 170 in the world over him. Including Belal, who ran through him not that long ago. Brady seems like a different dude.
