SBBC Vol 1 - Corona is a can

Not sure how long you’re in Europe but Ultra Trail Mont Blanc is September 1st in Chamonix. Seems like a pretty cool race atmosphere/environment even if you’re not in the race.
Europeans do it different.

Ya, this is clearly the mountain running epi-center of the world. No question. I'm going up to Lac Blanc tomorrow (assuming it's not raining all day).

Im leaning slightly towards Spence just because Ive seen him fight through more adversity in the ring and proven against more quality opponents than I have Crawford. Its hard to have strong feelings one way or the other, these guys waited so long that I wouldnt be surprised to see either one look washed up.

Crawford is an amazing talent. It sucks the way his career has been delayed and handled.

I think even if Crawford is washed he's good enough to win, kinda like Andre Ward at the end. Bud just made money, I don't blame him.

Its an interesting matchup. Spence can box with the best of them (watch the clinic he put on Mikey Garcia when everyone said all he could do is use size and power. He used nothing but technical boxing abilities) but he prefers to be in a fight. Bud is the more polished of the technical boxers but he has a very mean streak and killer instinct which is rare for his style.

Spence usually will happily eat a punch to deliver a punch but with Crawford being a sniper with his counters that is not a great tactic here. Crawford tends to make his opponent fight his fight, but that isnt going to work with Spence. Spence is coming to kill him, and I would bet the house that Spence is going to sell out entirely to break Crawford’s mid section to slow him down and take away his pinpoint precision.

Even though hes a homer for his boys, our mans RR is extremely confident that Spence is going to work him over. Supposedly hes been murdering the twins and everyone in the gym leading up to this one. Hopefully he doesnt let emotions get the best of him because Crawford is a fucking killer when the opening presents itself.

Bit of a travesty how under the radar this is going. It is, on paper, an unbelievably better matchup than Money/Pac, Golovkin/Canelo etc. These two are the best of the best and come to fight every outing. Its increasingly rare to have guys that can box as well as they do but yet still look to stop their opponents. Most are content to point fight and win decisions. These dudes hate each other and this is a legacy defining moment for them both.

Lastly, it makes me sick that both of these guys are past their primes already. Between Bud’s management and Spence’s car wreck/retina injury, they missed out on their best years physically.

Then he'll fight more subpar challengers and ride off into the sunset for 5 years.

I actually think he plays into Bud's strengths too much, like you said Bud will counter and switch stances on Spence. I don't think he can work the body early without eating something in return. I don't think this fight goes the distance. I have Bud winning in before championship rounds.

Rewatch the Garcia fight and see if it sways your feelings at all. Pretty much no outcome would surprise me in this fight.

The only relevant Garcia in this discussion is Danny Garcia and he's washed my dude.

If it wasn't 5 years ago I'd consider it.

I think Spence can win it, I just don't see him actually doing it.

Is that a Good Luck flag in the picture?

The place we're in is a condo part of a 5-star hotel. I think they fly the flags of the countries whose citizens are crazy enough to spend $3000/night on the hotel. the other flags are: US, FRance, Canada, Italy, Australia and Argentina.

I may have some informative and exciting news coming up for anyone considering getting a bidet attachment for their toilet. Of course I will recommend that you do, but soon I should be able to give a little further guidance.

A year or two ago I spent about $40 on a Brondell attachment on Amazon. I decided to replace it and I ordered a $100 Tushy unit from Amazon. Installed it today and the appearance is somewhat better. It also has a button to change the angle of the sprayer.

I will check back in after giving it some use, but as of now I am not convinced that it was worth an extra $60. Either way I probably won't be too disappointed with the purchase because I do highly recommend getting one of these. Maybe someday I will upgrade to the toilet seat unit instead of the attachment, but any house I live in will have a bidet of some kind.

This is why I come here

Why not just buy a Toto? This^^^ is 'you sound poor' territory.

This is the model we have:

I'm not sure it would be worth it for me to upgrade like that. I am only really after the basic function of shooting water up my ass. Not interested in a heated seat. The drying feature is intriguing, but I would most likely still use TP to dry off anyway.

I already kinda feel that I may have overpaid for the $100 attachment when the $40 unit did what I wanted. Going over $400 for something that provides no real extra benefit would not be fiscally responsible of me.
