that's how Germany is, it's technically illegal to smoke in bars country wide, but many of the smaller towns/close to the US bases will allow it

I definitely prefer the non smoking bars/restaurants. lol.

I cant remember the comedian, but there was some bit where he said that he remembered when you could smoke on planes.

Those flights would have been unbearable.
