You can see why Aljo finished him so quick, TJ has had his back like 10 times
He's definitely making some questionable decisions, spinning back kick at close range? He had a Weidman/Rockhold moment.
Not impressed with Sandhagen, struggling against a clean TJ smh
He reacts really badly to pressure, turning away from your opponent is pretty much always a bad decision.
Sand fading later
It’s definitely going to cost him some fights by doing stupid shit like that.
Over and over and over, Aljo or anyone who is a finisher on the back would finish him
He went fuller retard at the start of round 3.
Reminds me of Gus turning and running. Not a good look.
Yeah but Gus usually got away, he just gives his back up lol
No matter the outcome of this fight, Cory comes out with stock down. He’s only landed some counter jabs because of his length. Doesn’t look like a title contender at all
Again. He doesnt give a crap. He better stay at 135 his whole career.
Why does TJ not get his hooks in???
Wondering that myself. Maybe the bum knee? Maybe the length? The only thing Sand did well all fight was stop the hooks. He’s so long he just curls up and it’s hard to toss them in
I just don't think he is Jiu Jitsu minded at all, if they rematch he will work on his back finishes I bet
Straight from the horses mouth. The knee
I don't understand, tbh. TJ couldn't do anything with it, but why give up your back that way? It looks bad. He did more damage, had better strikes, came closer to finishing more than once... he literally lost because he put his forehead on the cage and received no damage.
What's crazy is that TJ was winning octagon control and positional grappling with one knee.
TJ said he popped his knee in first and couldn't sink in the hooks.
