Seems the biggest difference is America value's it's troops lives more than civilians of whomever they've invaded. At the start of this invasion seems the Russians were far more willing to risk its troops lives when dealing with the civilians.

It's initiating a comparison, whether you want to frame that comparison as "Russia values Ukrainian civilians more than Russian troops" or "US values Ukrainian civilians less than American troops (by extension, more than Russia values Russian troops)", it still does the same operative work.

So whether you frame it as Russians caring little about their own troops relative to civilians or a lot about civilians relative to their own troops, you're drawing a comparison. And I'm arguing that comparison is flawed. You continually beg for projections when it's obvious that this right here is the whole debate. You believe the Russians care more about civilians than Americans. Thus, you assert that they've been using "kid gloves" or that the casualties are low. I argue that you do not know that the casualties will be lower at the end of the invasion than the US, who allegedly doesn't use "kid gloves" and cares less about civilians. You need to prove that statement. I don't need to come up with projections that the casualties will be similar, equal, or greater. Toronto Canada got a scare where huge number of tanks traveling over a bridge for what Canada said moving for a training exercise. But during this time people were shocked. The official statement was training but people think something bad.

The Javelin is taking over what the Stinger missile did to Russian helicopters back during Russian War with Afghanistan to Russian tanks. It also answers all the dumb Russian tanks are superior to US made because they are smaller an lighter less chance of getting bogged down in the mud talk. Seems like all tanks in the higher gross tonnage range have the same problems as well as tire dry rot on their troop transports. Ukrainian General had secured talks with US and European military leaders over choke points where Russia was setting up forward operational bases to launch strikes, medical and resupply missions to Ukraine capital leading many to believe Russia getting ready to move into Kiev by encircling the area in at least 3 points. It also sounds like Ukrainian General is convinced this will happen very soon and he has at his disposal thousands of trained fighters at the ready and equipped. It could be entering the bloodiest fighting yet seen according to reports scary stuff. This may explain Ukrainian President Zelenskyy being photographed outside for the first time in what seems many days possibly ahead of a major move by Russia towards the capital.
