Well actually it is beeing blamed on Russian army officers in charge of the BUK that shot the civilian plane down.
I remember Russia releasing a (photoshopped) "satelite image' of a Ukrainian SU-25 flying towards it in a desperate attempt to prove their innocence

Some update on the trial thats going down right now, altho i doubt you are really interested
Only thing he is interested is Kremlin's propaganda.

He will support Kremlin's narrative.

EU looks that now does have at least 1 600 000 refugees and Dexter will support Kremlin even if Russia had tanks in Berlin.

It is what it is.

They are chanting mantra: EU will die without our natural gas and oil, are nazists and enemies, Russia does have military, lower GDP than China or Bulgaria per capita and therefore war, accusations, fake news etc beauties.

They even today are hoping that we are interested about fake info from Kremlin, their promises and their friends in Germany, Hungary and Italy will bail them out. LOL.

Russia is threating world with nukes.
Kremlin is ruled by 69 years old former communist and KGB director Putin, friends Lukashenko and Kadirov, Medvedev is Putin's student and Zirinovski is 75 y.o rich " commusist " who had promised to take Paris and Berlin in his hands, LOL.

These were stingers with seekers developed in 1978 th.
Now even 2010 th production is oboslete and US produces more modern stuff than this was in 2010 th.:)
True technology has advance substantially since that time just pointing out the significance of this hardware at inflicting damage to forward progress of the Russian army.

Zirinovski:
In February 2015, he suggested to "burn all Paris" and "sturm Berlin" during a speech at the Duma.[89]

Lol I'm not disagreeing at all with that. So.... hypothetically say Ukraine agreed to the current deal offered by Russia. The 4 stipulations. Everyone is still going to run with his goal was all Ukraine?

I'm not sure what everyone will say. I believe there's a sliding scale of goals and the whole of Ukraine seems out of reach now due to operational logistics failure radicalising the population.

If you think the chechens were trouble, watch this space for what the Ukrainians will do.

Yeah, I just remember well how Ukrainians shot down their own fighter jet over Kiev and put that AA missile in the residential living building recently.
And then, suddenly, I remembered an interesting situation with some downed Boeing, blamed on Donbass separatists several years ago…

Friendly fire in a warzone on a military aircraft that is basically the same hardware as the enemy is one thing.

Blowing up a huge civilian aircraft that is broadcasting its location is worse by an order of magnitude. Separatists, with top flight military hardware that needs logistical support.. what you're talking about there is Russian military attacking obvious civilians, a hideous fuck up for sure.

Out of interest as a thought experiment, if the Ukrainian people do have neonazis among them, as do the Russians, does that change anything?

Cos people in that part of the world be like that, and it seems to be more a popular ideology these days. I am into historical European martial arts, some pagan/Viking stuff and I but up against that ideology every so often.

Not surprising Russian Politicians talk violence all the time during speeches we think US politicians are crazy people

There is some difference: they does have heavily funded propaganda campaigns and they have huge machinery for external propaganda and huge machinery for brainwashing in Russia.

This started when Joseph Stalin took power in Kremlin, 1925-1953 this was under Stalin, Soviet Union maintained wisely crafted and heavily funded propaganda and brainwashing machine 1925-1991 and Russia started to do this since 2008 th.

Looks that when world financial crisis hit Russian economics, oligarchs and old communists still had a lot resources. Gold peaked etc.
Instead to rebuild economy they launched smartly designed brainwashing campaigns and with funding there were 0 problems.

Add to this that mass media mainly belongs to oligarchs directly or indirectly, if there we add FSB and Putin, dudes like Zirinovski, Kadirov, Lukashenko...........

Come on man you know that was his Iraq has WMDs moment, he used that in attempt to justify his war.

but the nazi and racist treatment by the border services of all the countries supporting Ukraine makes its obvious Ukrainians were both surrounded by (Russia included) and supported by racists with nazi mentality. Sadly at time of war refugees fleeing for their lives were reminded about this cold truth.

You've lost me now. Yes Putin used the shelling of civilians as an excuse to invade, what he didn't tell you is that he deliberately hid his forces within the civilians population and launched attacks from there to attract that shelling.

And yes there are many Nazis in that region, on all sides. That's just a fact.

Most of them would rather be in Mexico.
I blame everyone for this. The US mostly.
Then why are so many try to get in at the border? And is Mexico stopping them going back?
Yeah don't blame Putin, apparent genius but he's just been played like a pawn in the US's game.

Sorry if I don't agree with hardly anything you say.

Honestly I try ink it’s probably be a legal option. These corporations left their asses hanging. I don’t feel bad for them

How many of those can actually continue operating? It is not like IKEA is going to keep shipping stuff to sell.

I mean, CLEARLY It couldn't be!
that is a sweet ak

Yeah, got a classic bakelite mag on that 74.

Eh Russia can fuck off with their deal. They're liars and can't be trusted. Maybe Ukraine takes it maybe not, that's not my business.

Like I said this is almost a hybrid authoritarian state that faces existential threat to its existence. Invaded by a vastly more powerful regime that conscripts its own civilians to fight. The idea we should be shocked and appalled at Ukraine for doing the same as their occupiers is silly and hypocritical.

Russia doesn't get to create this humanitarian clustetfuck and pass the blame on. This is their fault. Fuck them not the Ukraine. There were many other ways to deal with conflict in eastern Ukraine, many ways to deal with nato expansion. Total invasion and laying seige to cities is a pure bullshit. It's laughable to excuse it as anything other than it is: blatent military agression towards people who pose no immediate threat to you.
Exactly. There seem to be a lot of Putin/Russia apologists in here. It's really US's fault for Putin invading, Russian's aren't targeting civilians, Russia could just steamroll Ukraine they are being nice, Ukraine is arming it's citizens so unarmed citizens are fair game, Ukraine is full of Nazis, just ignore the Russian ones, Putin is a genius, looking militarily terrible and crashing his economy is all part of the plan, I could go on and on.

Why not? All the infrastructure and supply chains are in place what is to stop the. From making copies of knock off hamburgers or Ikeas case just having the Chinese factories make the same stuff?

Does anyone have a link to a site that provides a summary of major developments/news?

I was actually using this thread initially to stay on top of the situation, but I can't seem to make heads or tails of what people are talking about now - something about Dua Lupa delivering McDonalds, and a boycott of Russian dressing on a Rueben sandwich. The only constant is people bitching at @Da Speeit, and @Da Speeit asking for additional sources because he doesn't believe the ones he is given.
He could find additional sources if he was really bothered about representing the truth but he clearly isn't. Here Pentagon estimates between 2000-4000 dead Russians. A lot lower than Ukraine and a lot higher than Russia. Probably much closer to the truth.

There's small extremists groups in virtually every country.
