I guess you havnt learned from history what happens when you let dictators/madmen invade other countries??? Just turning your back doesnt make the problem go away it get's worse much worse until they are finally stoppped. If the west didnt get involved this war would be a different story. And If Putin managed to conquer Ukraine do you think he would have just stopped there? People with that attitude is why Hitler was able to keep going .

Forget the US, and forget that Nato even sans the US have a better military than Russia, France and the UK have hundreds of nukes which would prevent invasion. I never advocated to stop sending Ukraine weapons and training. I’m just saying that we shouldn’t had interfere before the 2014 invasion since now we are closer to a Nuclear war than ever before. Would you not retract your statement if a part of Ukraine gets nuked? What if we actually get into a nuclear Armageddon over Ukraine? We tried to fuck with Assad a dictator and we unintentionally created ISIS. A nuclear power shouldn’t get into a war with another nuclear power. Are you in the military? Do you want to fight the Russians? Or do you want other Americans to do that for you?

Yeah it's highly improbable. It's impossible to do in Europe because of one reason though, the US army presence. Remove that from the equation and it becomes all of a sudden an entirely different ball game. When I say remove, I mean troops out and zero help. Under such hypothetical circumstances only respectable anti-rus forces between Moscow and the german-french border would be ukrainian army (surprisingly) and the polish army. All small countries have enough traitor politicians already to turn into puppets within days and unfortunately some of them like Serbia, Hungary, Greece and many more into allies. Though I agree it would be hard to reach Hitleresque levels of 'success' even in that case. A man has to be insane to touch France, Turkey or Norway, or let alone UK. All are death sentences for whoever touches them.

The problem with this line of thought is that whether you like it or not, Russia's elites have been saying dumb shit like Vladivostok to Lisbon and they mean it.

Even if they are completely incapable of the task this is their goal and we have to take it seriously and them failing on their doorstep doesn't change the fact that they have openly expressed their intent to dominate the entire continent.

Real preparations need to be made in Europe to keep them in check for many decades to come. They can't be trusted any longer.

Russia isn't dumb enough to invade a nuclear nation. Your hypothetical is silly. They invaded Ukraine because they don't have nukes and didn't think much of their military. A miscalculation to be sure, but it doesnt change that their is zero chance that they'd be dumb enough to invade NATO nations.

I just heard something funny on TV they believe Russia's pullback is due to shortages of T-62 through T-90 tanks and Putin trying to shore up shortages but has not been able to remove his troops on the ground due to the aggressive efforts by Ukrainian military push forcing Russia to use longer range drones at a very high cost from Iran. Like million dollars for each one apparently running into potentially billions. Russians are of course denying these numbers but the drone attack is very costly for Russia because of shortages of key weapons on the battlefield. Iran may also be getting fighter aircraft as a part of the deal. Point is Russia is spending huge sums of money daily to conduct this war.
