Seems like you're the only one here intentionally misinterpreting things to me.
Intentionally?

Okay then you're just stupid, sorry for giving the benefit of the doubt.
Says the guy who butts in, fails to comprehend the context of the conversation and point being made. Hey, at least you don't lie about posting g sources and didn't fall for the ghost of kiev shit like the other guy though <45>
I'll spare rest of the thread any more shit and let you get the last insult in:
You tried to imply there was some Russian offensive going on at Kherson, but there isn't.
Russian forces are just in the area still, that's all.
Y'all mfers bitching about pre 1992 stuff realize that's half the US carriers. The current class of US destroyers the Burkes started in 1991.
Y'all acting as if 1991 is the stone age for military tech it really isn't.
I know much less about tanks tho maybe I'ma wrong.
Because it barely exists.
Is that all they produce? Are you trying to say that a country dedicating 5%? of it's GDP for an upcoming war should be able to produce more than 10 mobile howitzers per year?
our navy is in a weird spot, doesn't help congress keeps trying to act like they know better an screw with the navy's ability to scrap those LCS Turds. Also doesn't help we canceled the DDG-1000 program WAY to early because, again congress doesn't understand that when you build more things get cheaper.
Also we still have a cruiser Gap. Plus aren't most Burkes upgraded to a current standard?

The western citizens that believe Putin to be such an improvement aren't bright enough to speak Russian though'Dwindling human resources': Kremlin propagandists begging for 'professionals' to immigrate to Russia

"Davis continues, “Appearing on the state TV show ‘Who’s Against?’ on Tuesday, (August 23), Anna Revyakina, deputy chairwoman of the Public Chamber of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic in occupied Ukraine, voiced her ideas about attracting potential immigrants to Russia. She suggested that instead of worrying about the wave of European visa bans on Russians who want to travel abroad, Moscow should do more to attract foreigners to Russia.”
Revyakina told “Who’s Against?’ viewers, “All of us Russians and our government should create maximally attractive conditions for the citizens of other countries to come to us, augmenting our population. We have an enormous territory, a huge country, maybe not even fully developed, 140 million people. Of course, we need more. Vladimir Vladimirovich (Putin) is concerned about this, with various programs for families with many children.”
Revyakina encouraged Russian speakers living in the Baltics to consider moving to Russia, saying that applicants need to be “loyal, in love with Russia, and speaking the language.”

Yeah... I don't see Russia attracting a lot of "professionals" now.
Not unlike what happened to AI programmers they opted to move to Canada. The reason was funny but serious they did not want to work were Trump was President at the time.'Dwindling human resources': Kremlin propagandists begging for 'professionals' to immigrate to Russia

Our main battle tank is the Abrams. I’m not sure exact when it entered service, but it was used in desert storm so at least since 1991. It has been refitted and upgraded in a number of ways since then but i is still the Abram.Y'all mfers bitching about pre 1992 stuff realize that's half the US carriers. I think this is why the USN is lateralling to big ships. The military industrial complex has shown to be incapable of making large quantities of a new LSC. The US aircraft carriers(carriers are probably obsolete but that ain't the point) lead is based on the fact they've been accumulating carriers at the speed of sloth since 1975. Carriers used to take 5 years to build and now despite being pretty much the same size it's 8 or 9 years. So making a few big missle ships might make sense if you just aren't going to be able to produce a shit ton of Zumwalt sized ships why not just go the route of fewer(but more than 3) large combatants?
Big ships don't offer the overpowering advantage they did during the gun era but individually a big ship is still superior. it's just they have more of the same sort of weapons as opposed to being on a completley different level of power as we saw with battlehips versus cruisers(not the Alaskas btw). Big missle ships don't make as much sense in a missle context as battleships did in a gun context but they're still worth building especially if you can't poop out a gigantic fleet of smaller vessels. Yes the US can keep building the Burke for eternity which has become cheap because of the quantity and familarity with the design but I mean something new.
It's crazy their attempt to limit spending actually made fraud and abuse worse. Insane that a program(Zumwalt) was completed at twice the original contract with the contractor only completing a fraction of the order. This is why the US has no chance of competing with China. China doesn't set bs limits on themselves. But hey the US can't be having the poors thinking they can have human rights so they got to play act that the deficit is a problem
