Well today's the day if Ukraine largest nuclear plant gets major problems. As shared already Russian nuclear workers where told not to show up for work on Friday. The other was a video of Russian trucks parked inside the plant over diesel generator. Some believe Russia plans on creating a false flag in the plant.
Diesel generators are used as emergency power source in power plants....

IMHO they already long ago had also used turbine halls ( where steam from reactor is moving turbine to produce electricity )...
And there is " nice " stuff called spent nuclear fuel basins, they need continuous water supply according to flowchart and schedule in order to cool down hot spent fuel rods.

Has Putin gone full Hitler?

it reminds me of the end of WW2 when victory was long gone for Germany but a delusional Hitler didnt care and was going "scorched earth" policy all the way back to Germany. It's clear now that Russia wont be taking over Ukraine any time soon and will likely be a battle of attrition until Russia eventually leaves or Putin get's taken out. He appears to be in denial but he's all in at this point and he's just going to be responsible for his own country's downfall.

They don’t do a good job training their regulars or their conscripts. They have an incredibly toxic environment that just discourages any form of motivation. I remember a long time ago listening to Fedor talk about his time as a conscript. He was bullied relentlessly and the only good thing he had to say about it was that it ended.

This seems to be the case, the culture in the military is severely screwed up. I imagine the actual special forces have a completely different barracks, chain of command, better oversight, training, etc.

I think this analogy doesn't really work very well.

In some aspect analogy does work.
While sadly " bad guy " in Russia isn't Putin.
They are two political parties called " United Russia " and so called in folk Zirinovsky party. Plus Navalny, he is even worse than Putin or Medvedev and is dreaming as bare minimum former Warshaw block re introduced. Navalny is very scared that Czech Republic and Berlin aren't under Russia today....It is reality, sorry.
" United Russia " does have top politicians like Morozov, Medvedev etc plus Patrushev....

This political party is heavily influenced by old former USSR KGB officers like Patrushev...a lot of such specimens....
Putin at least is able to admit that inflation in Russia does exist and therefore he will increase pensions...

Explosions at a Russian base knocked out over half the Black Sea fleet's combat jets, crippling its warfighting ability, Western officials and intelligence say

"Multiple blasts on August 9 at Saki Air Base — situated well-behind the front lines in eastern and southern Ukraine — caused widespread damage, destroying several Russian warplanes and buildings.

According to multiple reports from Reuters and others, Western officials said Friday that the damage has sidelined over half of Russia's Black Sea fleet's naval aviation jets, greatly hamstringing the combat capability of Russian President Vladimir Putin's forces in the area.

Included in the damage are an unspecified number of both Russian Su-24 and Su-30 jets, which have been in use by the country's air force for decades. There have been conflicting reports over how many aircraft were destroyed exactly, though satellite imagery from last week shows as many as 13 damaged and destroyed jets."

Russian bases are taking a beating I wonder if Russian Soldiers have turned on Putin? Serious question because even though questions of the numbers of bases destroyed still linger it has to be substantial.

True but also satellite data some of the most advance satellites are being used to get quality day and night imagery.

"Ukrainian wounded warrior athletes arrive on the flightline at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, Aug. 17, 2022. More than 60 Ukrainian athletes, families, coaches, caregivers, and staff traveled to MacDill AFB en route to Orlando where they’ll compete in the 2022 Department of Defense Warrior Games held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, August 19 to 28. The Warrior Games consists of nearly 300 wounded, ill, and injured active duty service members and veterans who will participate in a series of adaptive sporting events and represent the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Special Operations Command."

"
Totaling 260,000 personnel, the Ukrainian army is now among the largest forces in Europe, with several thousand soldiers on active duty in the Anti-terrorist/Joint Forces Operation zone in the east of Ukraine. Since 1992, Ukrainian forces have been actively engaged in multiple exercises and peacekeeping missions under UN and NATO command across Balkans, the Middle East, and Africa. Ukrainian naval units also participated in anti-piracy operations off the coast of Somalia.

As of today there are nearly 11,000 veterans with disabilities as a result of taking part in military operations in the Eastern Ukraine. The Ministry for Veteran Affairs of Ukraine is the main body in the system of central executive bodies of Ukraine that is responsible for the rehabilitation of servicemen and veterans who have received injuries , wound or illnesses as a result of military service."

The Venue
This year marks the first time Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will be a Warrior Games venue. We asked Faron Kelley, Vice President, ESPN Wide World of Sports, runDisney and Disney’s Water Parks to share Disney’s reasons for donating the 220-acre facility for the Games.

Q: What can you tell us about the Warrior Games?

A: The Warrior Games is the ultimate triumph of the human spirit. It is a chance to see how powerful sports and competition can be when used as a transforming element in a person’s life. It also gives us a chance to say thank you and cheer on these warriors who have done so much for all of us.

I have always been a proud supporter of the military, as my father and many of my aunts and uncles had served, but being able to witness first-hand the positive impact that sports could have on the lives of these service men and women truly changed my life.

I'm sure Russia is keeping an eye on soldiers coming back from the front line with a perfectly placed single gun shot wound to the leg...

The 2022 Department of Defense Warrior Games will begin Aug. 19 at Walt Disney World Resort’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando. The annual games are intended to celebrate the commitment, strength, spirit and resilience of active military members and veterans who have faced injuries, been wounded or fallen ill.

Hosted by the United States Army, the Warrior Games will feature nine days of adaptive sports competitions, including wheelchair basketball and rugby, archery, swimming, sitting volleyball, track and cycling. Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and international ally teams will compete in indoor and outdoor events.

Established in 2010, the Games provide a way to support wounded service members in rehabilitation and recovery. They not only promote growth and achievement but also inspire participants to stay physically active in their own communities.

Close to 300 U.S. military and allied nations competitors have trained hard to compete in this year’s Games. As part of the preparation for the events, competitors participated in an adaptive sports program that helps build endurance and encourage camaraderie among teammates."

It doesn't have to just the foot I can think of over 10 areas of the body that you can shoot without disabling or killing yourself it takes a lot of guts but can be done. The issue is avoiding a vital organ, carotid artery or femoral artery or vein don't want to bleed to death you know. Anyway you have to be crazy to fight in Putin idiotic war.

Pretty sure what you quoted from me said nothing about a foot...
