I know just saying how many areas people can be shot and live.Pretty sure what you quoted from me said nothing about a foot...
I never take any military hth training all that seriously. From my exp...about h2h....
well worked lads from Criminal Police special unit and anti terrorism unit ( i don't mean here riot control ).
These guys usually were with some h2h exp from their teen years and some training during these years + they had served as a pros earlier...
F.e former paratrooper or as undercover criminal police guy....
There is stuff that they are level above casual pro paratrooper.
This, you get some basics in the military, but its mostly used as a mindset thing, showing your will to fight and what notI never take any military hth training all that seriously.
Regular military, or even elite, do not train hth with the purpose to actually use it. as a form of PE or aggression training, maybe. But if two soldiers meet each other in the field neither having weapons or armed friends nearby, both have fucked up royally and need more training in not letting go of their weapons instead. The training time needed to get competent at hth is not in proportion to the minuscule chance of ever needing it in modern combat. That time is much better spend training them in modern warfare.

Explosions at a Russian base knocked out over half the Black Sea fleet's combat jets, crippling its warfighting ability, Western officials and intelligence say

"Multiple blasts on August 9 at Saki Air Base — situated well-behind the front lines in eastern and southern Ukraine — caused widespread damage, destroying several Russian warplanes and buildings.
According to multiple reports from Reuters and others, Western officials said Friday that the damage has sidelined over half of Russia's Black Sea fleet's naval aviation jets, greatly hamstringing the combat capability of Russian President Vladimir Putin's forces in the area.
Included in the damage are an unspecified number of both Russian Su-24 and Su-30 jets, which have been in use by the country's air force for decades. There have been conflicting reports over how many aircraft were destroyed exactly, though satellite imagery from last week shows as many as 13 damaged and destroyed jets."

lol this far into the war an they still havent knocked out the UAF airforce...that is honestly pathetic
Lol " western officials " and intelligence say ? Hah. No intelligence agency said that.. as a matter of fact in the article they reference what the intelligence sources say..
The British defense ministry said in an intelligence update last week that the jets lost only represent a small portion of Russia's overall aircraft inventory available to support its war efforts in Ukraine.
So you can either believe the vaguest of vague sources. " unnamed Western officials " lol. Or the UK ministry of Defence .....
Actually yes they have. There is satellite photo imagery showing proof that at least half or a little bit over half have been destroyed . An the UK MOD has been one of the most accurate sources of info thus far,
smiling your own fart isn't exactly a source bro.
Also unnamed western official usually means, CIA or some agency of the DOD
Ukraine Citizen Who 'Destroyed' Russian Su-34 Jet With Rifle Given Medal

The State Border Service of Ukraine announced Friday that officials had awarded “pensioner” Valeriy Fedorovych with a medal “for assistance in the protection of the state border.”
"The State Border Service of Ukraine announced Friday that officials had awarded "pensioner" Valeriy Fedorovych with a medal "for assistance in the protection of the state border."
Officials said that in March, when Russian President Vladimir Putin's troops continuously bombarded Chernihiv, a hard-hit city in northern Ukraine, Fedorovych "took his rifle and opened fire."
"Heroes among us," officials said, adding that after Fedorovych fired at the jet with his rifle, "the enemy fighter Su-34 was targeted and destroyed."
"The plane fell, and our hero received the medal 'For assistance in the protection of the state border,'" Ukraine's state border service said.
Kyiv released a short clip that shows Fedorovych with a rifle slung around his shoulder, walking through buildings destroyed by shelling as a result of Putin's invasion, which began on February 24.
"On the second lap, how did it go? I went 'bang' with my stick [rifle]. And it was like 'bang.' And it [a Russian Su-34 jet] fell," Fedorovych said in the video."
