I never take any military hth training all that seriously.
Regular military, or even elite, do not train hth with the purpose to actually use it. as a form of PE or aggression training, maybe. But if two soldiers meet each other in the field neither having weapons or armed friends nearby, both have fucked up royally and need more training in not letting go of their weapons instead. The training time needed to get competent at hth is not in proportion to the minuscule chance of ever needing it in modern combat. That time is much better spend training them in modern warfare.

This, you get some basics in the military, but its mostly used as a mindset thing, showing your will to fight and what not
Anyone that has done some competitive form of fighting should be able to attest to the insane amount of time needed to just get some of the basics down.
No military is going to dedicate that much time for a situation that shouldnt be occurring in the first place.

A. Scenario.
There is someone walking around...usually pretending to be casual ordinary civilian.
However he most likely is armed...
B. One from methods to deal with such guys is...
To use lads dressed and behaving as casuals in such environment....
+ " helpers " ( these might be from teen till senior age persons ) to get his attention with something...
Base is the same as seasoned pocket thiefs are using...
However here task is to get close to object without rising suspicions and .....grab him in order to control arms and legs & head...
I had posted multiple times in standup ...that for military guy S/C training is necessity cos he should move around with equipment and protect gear....rather than to prepare guy to fight h2h barehands.....

I had noted muliple times that h2h training also is as tool to motivate " be brave etc " and boost moral....
While for armed h2h kinfefight still isn't abadoned completely...because it doesn't makes sound...

The British defense ministry said in an intelligence update last week that the jets lost only represent a small portion of Russia's overall aircraft inventory available to support its war efforts in Ukraine.
So you can either believe the vaguest of vague sources. " unnamed Western officials " lol. Or the UK ministry of Defence .....

"The plane fell, and our hero received the medal 'For assistance in the protection of the state border,'" Ukraine's state border service said.
Kyiv released a short clip that shows Fedorovych with a rifle slung around his shoulder, walking through buildings destroyed by shelling as a result of Putin's invasion, which began on February 24.
"On the second lap, how did it go? I went 'bang' with my stick [rifle]. And it was like 'bang.' And it [a Russian Su-34 jet] fell," Fedorovych said in the video."

Actually yes they have. There is satellite photo imagery showing proof that at least half or a little bit over half have been destroyed . An the UK MOD has been one of the most accurate sources of info thus far,
smiling your own fart isn't exactly a source bro.
Also unnamed western official usually means, CIA or some agency of the DOD
