In Ukraine both sides widely are using different IEDs and combinations of them ...also by using arty shells etc stuff.
Additionally, since they does have a lot of old disk type mines and most likely aren't sure that they will work 100%....
Sometimes tactique is to place 2-3 disk type mines like mini tower mode and below them to place Bobby trap type device. Simplest is penal or disk type mine detonating when these large disk type mines are removed.

If for example there all 3 old model disk type will detonate....then you will require to have more " resistance " than if there will be only 1 mine.
IEDs are beauty and might use from 0,1 lbs till more than 350 lbs explosives.
 
Yeah, so I don't put an awful amount of stock into these sources but even if there is a half truth to it. It definetely shows that Russia is killing itself just for Putin's self-absorbed desires. The deals with NK for manpower just reek of desperation and now Russia is manipulating immigrants from other countries to fight for it. It just goes to show you that there is a notable amount of Russians sick of Putin's shit.

I believe he has had to do this to entice men From Moscow and St Petersburg as he has pillaged all he can from the rural areas and also hope to lure some more from other poor countries… of course prob offering Russian citizenship when is great these days.

This German-made system, developed by Rheinmetall, was delivered to Ukraine earlier this year, following a procurement by the German government.


Skynex offers robust protection against various aerial threats, including missiles, drones, aircraft, and helicopters. The system features a 35mm cannon that fires programmable Ahead ammunition, making it highly effective at close range.



Rheinmetall announced last year that the first two Skynex systems would be delivered to an international customer in early 2024. According to Handelsblatt, the customer was Ukraine, facilitated by the German government’s initiative.

This war is getting stranger by the day.

Ukrainian special forces helped Tuareg rebel ambush Wagner operating with Malian army last week, killing dozens of Russian mercs and Malian troops. They probably did so with intelligence support from Murica and Europe, who were helping the Malian army against the same rebels just two years ago.

Now Mali is cutting off diplomatic relationship with Ukraine for aiding the separatist movement.
 




For those interested in the perspective of Russian opposition, TV Rain does some of their content in English via the TV Rain Newsroom channel. Maxim Katz is another one, but he has English subs instead of dubs. If you happen to speak Russian, there's also Varlamov, Meduza, Nexta, Radio Svoboda, and Novaya Gazeta. Some of these might have English versions or subs. If anyone is wondering how hard it is to be an anti Kremlin journalist in Russia, read up on Novaya Gazeta, they've had seven of their journalists murdered in Russia since 2000, the most well known being Anna Politkovskaya. Also see the list of opposition leaders who have been murdered. With just a little bit of research, it quickly becomes apparent how pathetic Westerners who simp for Putin are.

The Legion of Freedom, RDK, and Siberian battalion are all volunteer groups made up of Russians who joined Ukraine and are fighting against Putin's forces. Only Legion of Freedom is active on Youtube, but the others are active on Telegram. Everyone else listed is active on Telegram as well.
