International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

If about frontline, we have 0 doubts that U.S doesn't wants Ukr to win in reality....since winter 2022 th btw....

Now moments in frontline aren't so positive and exactly Biden's administration here might help Ukraine damn a lot and immediately and with low expenses.....

1. To supply old Cold War era cluster ammo ....yesterday...
2. To talk with idiotic europe to do the same...they even might supply ammo containing napalm...and a lot...

Russia normally is pressuring a lot and there are a lot of bad tendencies... ...

Anti infantry and anti tank mines, incl usable by distance minelaying systems too should be supplied...yesterday.

Some russian units looks that get level USSR had for troops stationed in East Germany in 1985-1987 th....

Especially how to camouflage Grad 122 mm MRLS launchers etc stuff....maybe had hired old uncles to learn how to do job.
Also they does have more and better camouflage nets than earlier and are using these normally... it isn't fun at all.

Putin had increased $ offered for participation in so called special military operation, also payments and premium extra payments for agitators and recruiters....

Agitators are working 24/7/365 mode.
If guy is religious they are talking with guy in different mode...if guy is just money hungry then they does have different flowcharts how to talk with such guy.
Etc.
Agitators are skilled...they are picking type of conversation according type of guy they does have to talk with....with nuances taking in account.
Putin is hiring also foreigners and in some cases offering russian citizenship plus hiring bonus and some perks ( mainly this is for foreigners who had served some military service as conscripts etc somewhere so lesser time to train these guys before sent them to dumbass ).

This is a huge prisoner trade I wonder what actions is Russia looking to impact in Ukraine? One has to ask what they are potentially pressing for beside prisoner transfers and key players US, Germany are part of this negotiations who are also the largest countries donating key components to Ukraine? It's a juicy trade for the US administration and important given the people involved in the trade. Seems odd given the arrival of F-16's to Ukraine that Russia in talks over prisoner transfers. I don't trust anything that Putin doing right now and I have to be a little interested in the timing. Though it is important to get Whelan and Gershovich home but just wondering how this could potentially impact Ukraine?

"
CNN —
American journalist Evan Gershkovich and former US Marine Paul Whelan were among the 24 detainees released as part of a complex prisoner swap between Russia, the US and other Western nations.

A host of Russian dissidents were also freed while in return Moscow got a former FSB colonel convicted of murder as well as several individuals accused of spying or cybercrime.

Here is what we know about who was freed."

So, July is already gone.

By today, Ukraine should be out of manpower, right? At least according to some of our fellow sherdoggers.

Yes, UKR should have been toast a long time ago and I even had a bet with a fellow Russian fan who has disappeared for some reason...as have a bunch of other Putler boot lickers . Putler will never stop his killing and invading as he has gone mad by now and likely is insane as Hitler was towards the end of WW2 where he basically lived in a dream world still thinking he will win no matter what the cost.
A serious question we ask every 6 months or so is WTF is his plan and how does he see this ending?

Well F-16's are flying low an been videoed by number of Ukrainians. During daylight too this is likely driving Putin nuts.

Most likely as usually: if you managed to catch some important for Russia spies, then they are more willing to negotiate about exchange .....obviously there might be 2 reasons: they does knows too much OR does have " backup " from someone impactful in Russia..
Then exchange might happen.

F-16's changed the game and Russia believes this war could continue for another year and Putin understands he needs to end this war. EDIT: Second US citizens really starting to get it and that's the general population and realize that Putin is evil.

Unfortunately some 4 or 6 F-16 in good case might just a bit improve air defense for some area in Lvov oblastj, not more....
This too does depends from missiles etc used by these airplanes.

Some from missiles usable for air defense might be even old and cheap stuff..... like some models used by F-16 decades ago. They still might shot down some russian cruise missiles models ( missiles models are different ) even with considerably lesser expenses than if had been used NASAMS, IRIS T etc stuff or ....not alone to talk about SAMP-T and Patriot etc...

For some applications they does need to have modern and expensive missiles plus support via network....

We also don't know what kind of avionics block they actually does have in reality... F-16 does have xx modifications for avionics blocks etc stuff.

U.S citizens and also Western europeans should get reality that Russia is and always will be long term strategic and also financial threat foe them. Most important Russia's allies today are North Korea, Belarus and Iran.....
They not only are supporting Russia with supplies and yelling how west soon will collapse, they also does have hackers and spies, informants etc networks, not alone to mention trolls farms working 24/7/365.

Ukraine been flying F-16's in contested areas without in the least feeling in danger of being shot down. Many believed that Ukraine would be unwilling to risk losing the few F-16's they have at their disposal. It really seems like Russia more concerned about getting their own planes shot down and I believe Europe has committed dozens of F-16's if not more and huge numbers of ammo to them. Russia realizes they could face the daunting task and increased losses with this war. The prisoner exchange and recent direct talks between US and Russia unheard of last few years is becoming more common. We will see but things are happening now.
