Okay then, so why do you think the West doesn't want Ukraine to win?

The person I responded to posted a video of a retired US general saying the West doesn't want Ukraine to win the war. The West is obviously arming Ukraine, but is refusing to give weapons which will truly give Ukraine a chance of winning, so why is it holding back? You of course can't offer any alternative explanation so you just throw petty insults around.

The fact is the West is controlled by people who utterly despise Ukrainians and are giving Ukraine only enough weapons/ammunition to make the war last as long as possible. This is to decrease Ukraine's population so that a new project can be established in Ukraine. A depopulated Ukraine is an essential objective if this new project is to come about.

I suspect it's because some in the West do not want to deal with the ramifications of a destabilized Russia if Putin gets overthrown. There's a high chance that if Ukraine completely expels them, Putin will be killed.

Also it's only some elements in the West. Others want to give full support. It's never black and white.

I didn't watch the video because I've wasted far too much time watching videos from 'experts' who know 'what's going on' in Ukraine, but the guy I quoted said the retired general said Germany & USA don't want Ukraine to win and that's why they refuse to give certain military equipment to Ukraine.

Gripen was purpose built to fight the Russian airforce while outnumbered and using dispersed low quality airfields. Would be nice to see it finally fulfill its intended purpose.

Sweden only has 96 Gripens which they need for themselves. They don't have any to spare.

Sweden is part of NATO now and is likely getting F-35s sooner or later. They only have spare aircraft right now.

That's going to take years. There's a huge list of countries already waiting on F-35's.

Point is Sweden isn't going to diminish their own small air force to help Ukraine no matter how much we'd want them to. They've literally said as much. They don't have the planes to give.

And in the future, F35's will only be a complement to the Gripens as they're the backbone of their air power.

He's not wrong, the F-35 list is backed up pretty bad.

This why i hope LM doesn't win the 6th gen fighter competition. Look at the F-16 Block 70 list, its also clogged up. Poland was suppose to buy more F-16, but went for the FA-50 due to the wait list.

In March 2 Ukrainian pilots have finished F16 fighter evaluation at Elbit systems the largest F16 training simulator in the US and Netherlands have similar setups for training pilots before putting them in an actual fighter jet. These simulators can recreate pretty much many of the situations they could face and they have done very good. I would not be surprised if they are not already in planes.

One of the two Ukrainian pilots being trained are doing very well.

Nice, I thought they leaked in Feb starting the training soon. Glad to see it's happening. It's funny how these dorks think Ukraine's only option is to win the war in one day. That long term plans are somehow a sign of losing. Preparing for the long war is already losing. Meanwhile they constantly make advances on the ground. Slowly, costly, but advancing. On pace to be at the "main line" of Russian defense in a few months if conditions were perfect and they didn't have to contend with weather/seasonal changes. No one supporting Ukraine thinks this will end this year so it's really absurd to watch these dorks who are cheering on civilian murderers simply because Ukraine is getting f16 next year instead of right now. Which would be useless anyways with zero qualified pilots anyways.

You didn't even watch the video. You are quoting someone with an agenda and taking their word as the only correct analysis of the video. Do you see why this is not a good foundation for argument? You haven't even seen the primary source and are defending only a biased opinion on it.
