I mean from the perspective of Russian shills anything beyond rolling over as Russia takes over your country and genocides your culture = "pro-West".

So in that context yeah, he is "pro-West", any guy would be in that context.

It looks like both wanted eventual integration into the EU, which is what I meant by that. Poroshenko as far back as 2014 was talking about eventual EU membership.

Why did you post the video and make a point of mentioning the retired US general doesn't want Ukraine to win? You're a conspiracy theorist, but you mock me for being one. Please explain why you posted that video.

It's not a conspiracy theory when you use inductive reasoning to come to logical conclusions. Many other people feel the same way. For example, Germany had to come kicking and screaming initially to give any aid.

Of course no way to know for sure. It's just my opinion.

Germany is well known as dreaming about next under the table Molotov - Ribentropp pact.
Sholz had told that in no case he will sent german troops to Ukraine. Thank you, I hope he will keep his word because last time they had sent batches with killers.
To negotiate under the table is real dream for Germany, Hungary and Austria.
Austria and Germany wants to see all areas on paper annexed by Putin annexed de facto and to keep Ukraine as cheap buffer.
Orban looks that is dreaming to see Ukraine 100% incorporated in Russian Federation. He even told Aliev, president of Azerbaijan that he does have land border with Russia.

If Putin will manage physically control all Ukraine...
Not likely Switzerland and Isarel will tell that it is bad. For them Ukraine was Russia 79 years ago and will be after 79 years. Money is God.

So both were pro-West in the end.

We can at least tell that nobody wanted war with Russia.

It doesn't matter. If we send them now, like your buddy was asking, they're going to sit somewhere in Ukraine for a year before anyone is trained to fight them, and even then it'll only be half a squadron, or 6 jets in the air. That will have no effect on the direction or outcome of the war.

6? Between the Dutch and Denmark over 60 donated from just them . I'm sure many will follow suit and open the floodgates not to mention training was already being done in various Nato countries. It should have happened sooner but at least its' in the forecast and a huge number of them will def help.

This is also obviously not true, the areas of the country that voted for a pro-Western government by the largest majorities were literally the ones that Russia has claimed.

In fact, the only Oblast that voted against Zelensky was Lviv, the one Oblast that is furthest from the Russian border. See the image above.

We're talking 2010 or 2011 when pro Russian candidates were still running genius.

Nothing is happening with F16's and Ukraine 'till next year at the earliest, which means they still plan on Russia occupying Ukraine...A Year From Now...or worse

"A first group of six Ukrainian pilots is not expected to complete training on the U.S.-made F-16 before next summer, senior Ukrainian government and military officials said, following a series of delays in the West’s instruction program for the sophisticated fighter jet."

You might want to try to get the dates right if you want to be a pretend historian.

Zelensky was elected in 2019..

I didn't get the dates wrong you just ignored what I was saying completley and made up an inconsistancy that wasn't there.

The pro western regime was installed in 2014. I was not referring to the president as an individual human.

I don't think it's really a contradiction, it only further cements the point that there was no major indigenous political separatist movement in Ukraine in 2019 like the poster I quoted alluded to.

Zelensky if anything was the pro Russian candidate or pro peace. There was no pro Russian candidate. 2019 is useless as a referendum on that front.

Ya, it's slower then desired but you said 6 planes and when it's all said and done I would expect 100's which is a game changer. Either way it's good news for UKR going forward and boost in moral and another thing for Russia to worry about. I'm hoping for Germany to release their long range missiles for another blow to Russia.

Washington Post has not been since the beginning of the war a reliable source for almost anything about the war. See my past posts about Washington Post and their reporting. I have heard from others that there has been training issues with communicating with the Ukrainian Pilots but they are still seeking early 2024 deployment with Ukrainian pilots training with Norwegian instructors. There is likely Western ones too so who knows were the Post is receiving their status information.

Yevgeny Prigozhin just released a video on Telegram that shows him likely in Africa apparently.

"
Russian mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin posted his first video address since leading a short-lived mutiny in late June, appearing in a clip possibly shot in Africa that was released on Telegram channels affiliated with the Wagner Group.

Prigozhin is seen standing in a desert in camouflage with a rifle in his hands. In the distance are more armed men and a pickup truck. Prigozhin’s comments and some posts in the pro-Wagner channels suggested it was filmed in Africa."
