Well you kept asking for my resume, and then when you got it, immediately started telling people I was dishonorably discharged or only spent two years in. Now maybe you just forgot and didn't mean to slander, so whatever.
I never said dishonorably discharged. Where did I say that? It does not matter.
Point being that you started with the insults:
'Only an idiot would think doing that - airborne operation' or 'I've met many shit officers in my day, but you top the list.' Words to that extent.
Sad part of it is that as veterans we could have had a nice, civilized conversation about how to attack Russian positions in Ukraine.
Actually, there are only two people in this thread worth having a conversation or debate that does not start or end in ridicule and insults.

I think you're crying a bit for a guy that's just spent most of his posts in here just insulting people who disagree with him. This whole back in forth started with my objection to your airborne assault plan. To which you immediately demanded my military resume, immediately got it wrong, and then cried butthurt when you were insulted.

Decided to go to law school rather than run the risk of being ordered to drop behind enemy lines without any supplies by a retarded major.
...and did you finish law school and pass the bar?

So now our airborne drop is down to just what, three or for groups with a grand total of maybe 200 guys?
Yes. That was always the number. Read back through my posts.

Yes, with zero detail. You're dropping small units behind enemy lines with a minefield a few miles to their west and a mass of russian armor in every other direction. Resupply will be nothing, as you expect these units to just acquire gear from the enemy and villages. And they will link up with armor units who will just move in from the west. How will these armor units suddenly bypass the massive defensive fortifications? No explanation. They just will.
Actually, the mines would be in front (west) of the Russian troops. How do you know there is Russian armor in every other direction? Yes, resupply based on guerrilla tactics and SOF operations. No, like I said before, armor will not make it through Russian defenses, just the Ukrainian Infantry.

Kid, it's clear your just making this up on the fly and trying to fill in the gaps with wasted explanations of how the US army writes out op orders and so forth. Wasting a paragraph detail the basics of a patrol order don't make you sound any smarter. In fact, it looks like a guy googling the basics of field operations and then trying to squeeze shitty ideas into them.
Kid, right. I'm probably 30 years your senior. Do the math. I joined at 23 in 1988 and spent 20 years in service. Prior enlisted, so, I must have gone through OCS. You asked for details of the operations, so, an OPORDER is the way to go. No mention of a Patrol Order, these are two different things. I'm still waiting to hear about your plan to assault the Russians. You must have one. 5 years in the Corps as Recon Infantry. E-5 Sergeant. The good ones usually have a plan. It may suck, but at least they have one. You would be leading either a Fire Team or a Squad would you not? Actually, you could lead 2 Squads of Ukrainians.

Instead, continue to focus on the main logistical routes (like they are now) and wear down the russian units that are already desperately low on morale. Ukraine clearly has an advantage in both range and accuracy of artillery, so use it to hit targets supplying those forward units. Ukraine has been doing this for months with pretty much constant success. No need to abandon it for your plan, half of which is "fuck it, these units that I've abandoned will just figure it out and link up somehow."
Logistical routes that lead to where? Mine fields and Russian defensive positions? Ukrainians are also low on morale and soldiers. NCOs refusing to obey orders. The Ukrainian artillery has barely enough ammunition for another month. Do you not read the news? How is the Ukrainian Army going to push back on the Russian defenses? Will the Russians stay where they are? The Russians have the advantage of being dug in in fortified defensive positions. Mines, obstacles, and trenches. Ukrainian tanks are not getting through that. Russia has twice the number of artillery pieces and an endless supply of artillery shells to fire at the Ukrainians. Russia is not going anywhere. Not now, not in another 12 months. The US is out of artillery shells for Ukraine. It could provide Ukraine with surface-to-surface missiles and destroy those Russian defensive positions, but it does not want to do that. Again, enough help not to lose the conflict but not enough help to win it. The answer is not in a frontal attack of Russian positions.

No, people who insulted me first and get butthurt when I insult them back. No, not an objection of my airborne assault plan, a ridicule of the plan and insults towards me. "That was WWII, it would never work today." Yeah, airborne operations are completely different today. No, I did not demand shit, I merely mentioned what I though was your experience level. You could have merely ignored the question. You could easily have ignored my posts or put me on 'ignore,' but no, you chose to be a dick - a big one by your account.

Not to me but to the U.S. Army.

You're a born comedian. This feels like moving of the goal posts(suddenly terrain only matters to the army but not you personally)...but maybe others can weigh in on this...

You mentioned being a logistics/procurement guy in the army...so perhaps sitting in some base(perhaps far from any conflict) and not being tasked with infantry related duties in an active war zone....i guess that makes sense...but very odd...basically the 'it doesn't personally affect me so it's irrelevant to the army as a whole'....

Well, @Darkballs was measuring 'dicks' and saying his was bigger. Implying he is 'better' than me? Somehow, what he did in Iraq was above my service in Iraq? He does not know shit about my service in Iraq and yet claims to have more experience.
Oh, so now it is 'grody' when I do it for being attacked? Of course, when you do it itis perfectly ok right? You are such a hypocrite.
I don't attack other veterans or other members. I think that is immature and unprofessional.
If I get attacked and insulted, I will attack and insult back.
I get along just fine with the majority of veterans here on Sherdog. Thank you.
Fuck sakes, child, just go have a big cry already and come back with a spine.

Haha, that's how I described him many times in debates, simply spins and moves the goalposts. He has always wanted a UKR surrender no matter how he spins it so I asked him what his peace plan was . So he responded by of course comparing it to the Korean war and how they had a cease fire...which is great and all but at one point the North had the South pushed way back and things looked grim for the South until the West got more involved. If Spin Marino was in charge he would have surrendered and said why fight on "at what cost"? and how many SK troops would have had to die? The North had most of the country in their position at one point but didnt surrender and look at the long term results of fighting invaders...and yes It's a high cost but look at the life people re living in SK compared to NK.
So sometimes....most times surrendering isnt the best option living under dictatorships.

I don't think there'll be another grand mobilization, but it'll be on the down-low.

This guy is actually good at describing the realities in Russia, they have obviously changed the mobilization laws to make it easier for the government but just depends on how they do it as I'm sure at this point eve the dumbest Russians must know it's death sentence.

Another Russian fighter jet shot down putler will not be happy.

Already posted ether way Russia feeling the heat wait till Abrams an F16 come to the battle.

So recent talks with South African countries could have been an effort to get a way out without losing face for Putler?

I chose to disagree with you on an internet forum.

Grow a pair.

Let me explain that Russia causalities will resemble in the 10's of thousands and tank losses and artillery loses will be far worse then Ukraine. It's going to be bloody that is for sure.

So Ukraine is the Germans in your Ukrainian battle of the bulge?

Ukraine intelligence head said they will move on Crimea soon. This may explain the rumored up to 300,000 troops in waiting. This maybe Ukraine battle of the bulge.

So Ukraine is the Germans in your Ukrainian battle of the bulge?
Give it a rest gezz. Ukraine going to inflict heavy damage on Russian armor. Difference is Ukraine is better prepared.

Which ever side pushes is the more likely to suffer the greater casualties..

I get it your pro Ukraine . But you really do throw logic out the window a lot.

Well, at its inception, the West told the Soviet Union NATO would not advance 1 inch to the East. NATO has advance miles to the East since that statement was made.

2 things wrong with this.

1. The West never promised the Soviet Union they would not advance 1 inch to the East. The Russians are claiming an agreement on non-expansion of NATO to Eastern Europe took place orally. But something like this would be in writing and there is no treaty or agreement at all promising this.

2. NATO doesn't recruit countries to join. It is up to sovereign nations to apply.

Claimed to already have been used by ukrainians. Range in excess of 500km with about 5kg warhead.

Appeasing them is wrong way and any weakness they see as asking to attack more and more.

Only one thing thing they might understand is fear and force & dircet threats.
All other stuff like treaties, papers etc and even their propaganda for them is lesser worth than peace of toilet paper.

This sums it up nicely.
