Saudi stuff with Patriot was plain and simple.
Prayers mandatory hours + SHORAD on paper.
They had launched xx very cheap drones on well known radar location.
Then next batch with drones and cheap missiles...vuala.

Might had good SHORAD prevented this to happen? Yes.

I think you should relocate to Russia and apply to Wagner etc.

Right place for ppl like you.
Cos simple thing : even IF war in Ukraine didn't had happened you had get 0 cent from DoD budget.
Also your problems are 0 worth for your idol Donald....

Your problems are your problems.
My problems are very rich ppl problems.
Trademark: politicians.

So cry and die in internet.

What a crock of shit!
A $6.2 billion mistake? Of course it had to be in Ukraine's favor. I wish the IRS would find such errors in my tax returns.
No such mistakes found in any other area? Past or present? Funny how that works or what a coincidence.

When you start making 766 billion(2022) in annual revenues/income let us all know...
6.2/766=
0.0080939947780679

That's in the same realm as finding out IRS mistakenly gifted you 809.40$ on your 100k income.

US median income is 56,420(2022) which would put this amount at 456.66$.

You're also lifting the veil of your feigned neutrality. You seem a little too upset for someone who doesn't care that Ukraine had something happen in its favor.

Yeah, spinmarino is really " U.S patriot " plus indirect blaming Biden for " defeat in Afganistan " and total ignorance about real history: Donald Trump had dramatically reduced number of U.S troops stationed in Afganistan thus far that " bad " Biden had installed more to be capable to do evacuation process.

Also total ignorance to see reality how the same reps and dems had handled vets programs etc....
Again absoulte ignorance.

Plus crying about " but my taxpayer's money " and again total ignorance that Trump during 4 years tenure as POTUS had increased U.S State Treasury debt more than Obama during 8 years.

Again absolute ignorance.

I will not even talk about drilling and fracking permits signed by " bad " Obama.....

https://thehill.com/homenews/admini...wont-make-it-easier-for-ukraine-to-join-nato/

President Biden on Saturday said he won’t make it easier for Ukraine to join NATO, adding that the country at war with Russia has to meet the requirements to be a member.

“They got to meet the same standards. So, I’m not going to make it easier,” Biden told reporters. “I think they’ve done everything relating to demonstrating the ability to coordinate militarily, but there’s a whole issue of is their system secure? Is it noncorrupt? Does it meet all the standards … every other nation in NATO does.”

It is good.
Actually I don't see also any fair reason why Ukraine should get fast track in EU.
They aren't golden goose or any problems panacea for EU like propaganda is talking ....instead they will be huge burden....if will not prepare enough.
It is awful that we are so crazy to ease stability standards etc just to please Kiev.

Ummm ....
The shahed drones cost
$20,000
While the Shahed-136 drones being deployed by Russia cost as little as $20,000 to make, shooting one out of the sky can cost between $140,000 and $500,000, The Times reported.

https://www.businessinsider.com/sui...per-launch-than-shoot-down-ukraine-nyt-2023-1

  • Russia's Iranian-made drones cost as little as $20,000 but can cost more to down, a report said.
  • This disparity, and the supply of air-defense missiles, is a growing concern among military experts.
  • Ukraine launched costly missiles over New Year's to fight Russia's drones, the report added.
The shaheed in particular can be brought down with cheaper weapons than that.

Interesting article by modern war insitute at west point, mainly focusing on russian long range fire and artillery and how their artillery is actually becoming better over conflict and Organization adapting to western tech (interceptions of himars etc)

from what ive been reading, we started production of ER GMLRS. also PrSM is started poduction an entering service last year. ATACM is soon to be replaced

OK, it is interesting article while I don't believe in " beautiful interception of HIMARS missiles ".
I don't think that russia or ukraine on routine basis are capable to intercept even USSR era Uragan 220 mm missile.
It isn't proved in any case.
While it is with 0 doubts proven that Thocka missile might be intercepted by Buk battery... I even mean late 1980 ies version...not something more modern.

However russia looks that did even better solution by copying ukr...
1. Not to keep large ammo stockpile in one depo, better 10 small than 1 large depo.
2. Locate even small depos enough far from frontline.
3. Transport ammunition in small column not large one + to mask it well because satellites and informants are real threat for both sides...

Russia is learning pretty well btw.
