Few days off, feeling revitalized. Played pick up hockey on Monday and it was a really fast paced game. It felt really good to be wheeling around the rink for once, instead of playing safe as a defenceman in my league games.

The girlfriend and I are giving intermittent fasting a try to get rid of some fat, so we’ll see how that goes.

Big snow storm finally hit. Shoveled my way out of the driveway to get to the gym before work. Get to the gym and my little car couldn’t get through the snow in the parking lot, so I had to park way down the street at an apartment building.

Had enough time to get my intensity day of squats in. That’s it. Felt good.

At my gf’s family cottage for the weekend in Quebec. Her two brother’s are starting to scrap together some equipment to get a home gym here. We decided to expedite the process and we bought a 365lbs (weights+bar) Olympic bar set.

Hurt my thumb over a month ago, and deadlifted today for the first time since then, and it went really well.

The gym is in the unheated garage, and it was -11 in there. Still had a solid workout. Tied my PR for deadlift (without straps) with ease.

Jinxed myself lol. Last Sunday my back was feeling a little iffy, but I decided to squat anyways. Pulled something in my lower left back area, and decided to take the week off from lifting.

Played hockey on Friday for our first playoff game, and my skating was terrible. We lost. Oh well.

Went in to the gym today and took it nice and easy. Didn’t push myself too hard, everything felt fine. Back hurt afterwards while I was stretching lol.
