Rogan exaggerating his fighting career

Many will stay stuck in mediocrity

Because of the mentality they demonstrate in threads like this

Whether you agree with Rogan or not, he's actively taken steps towards evolution and mastery in several key aspects of existence, when most of you can't even find the starting line.

Hate is a strange drug indeed.

Yeah. Bernie Sanders, Bill Maher, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and Universal Income far right. Stop listening to the news, and pay attention.
Man, shut the fuck up with that bullshit. I was listening to JRE on YouTube back when he had guys like Freeway Rock Ross, Mushroom guy Paul Stamets, and actual interesting people. It got real old during 2020 seeing guys like #1550 where he had a Republican candidate use his platform during election season, #1555 where Alex Jones just spews shit, #1558 where they talk about how conservatives being censored from social media. I watched them and made a conscious decision not to add clicks to whatever the fuck he is doing, because it's not what I used to watch it for. If I want to watch two out of touch idiots spew ignorant BS about who's being cucked and cancelled, I know where the fucking War Room is.

So...you are a liberal and dislike opposing views having a platform. Makes sense. You should have said that from the start.

Not a liberal, I'm a lefty. I don't want political shit on my meathead comedian content. Don't care if it's Trump, Fidel, Bernie Sanders, his CIA handler Mike Baker, or those grifters from Rising. Hard pass on voluntarily consuming for profit propaganda.

He is angry manlet who tries so hard to be alpha. He is short, bald and has sex with men. He also smokes weed at 60years old and talks brotopics about aliens and chupacabras with other equally old men who act as trenagers
You managed to make him sound like a pathetic loser that's dead inside and probably post here.

So you admit to watching Joe, him having an assortment of agendas displayed, yet you decided to make a 5 paragraph post about him being a right winger, because your views don't align with some of his guests . I'd say you're a little pussy bitch, and to grow a set of balls, and appreciate views from all walks of life.
If that's what got out of that, I don't know what to tell you. Here's a link for some remedial English classes. They're free.

Just admit you are wrong.

Rogan had guys like Sanders, Kulinski, Pacman etc on sometimes, so he could still claim he isn't right wing and appeal to a wider demographic. Overall though, he platforms way more right wing guests than actual left wingers, and this has gotten way worse after moving to Texas. It isn't a debate: all you have to do is look out his guest list and know who his guests are.

What you call flip flopping, I view as someone who's able to recognize the nuance of a discussion, how the truth fluctuates and makes adjustments accordingly.

Although I understand how it could be viewed in such a way.

I think there's a much bigger problem when someone picks a side and sticks to it because it highlights a lack of adaptability in thinking.

Also, I'm not sure I've ever heard him talk about a jiu jitsu match being a fight. It's definitely a simulated fight to the death in several ways, which Is more in line with what I'd expect him to say.
Fair enough but if you watch the video of him talking about "fighting" to one of his weak comedian buds, you can see the arrogance on his face and his tone changes, as compared to him talking to, say, Sean Strickland. Its not hard to spot. And I dont think he refers to bjj matches at fights, though he certainly thinks his TKD matches were. And yeah adaptability in thinking is key yet I dont think Joe has that anymore, especially with regard to politics, where he proclaims himself a liberal, yet shits on them every chance he can and nay a word about the other side. Its like saying you really love a chick but every chance you get you talk shit about her and make her out to be worst person ever.

He calls himself a kickboxer and a fighter but he is neither. He has a lot of people who play along with it and lick his boots because he has a big following

As someone who has kickboxed, grappled and done a few ammy MMA fights years back, I think you gotta lay off bro. If someone threw down in a MT or KB match and they called themselves a fighter I wouldn't argue. Kicking and punching people in the face and body is fighting.

When grapplers do it I side eye them a little bit because while physical and fun, pure grappling competition just isn't "fighting." But striking arts just hits different. Literally.

I respect those who are always trying to get better. Who've accomplished things in life. Don't matter who you are, or whether we see eye to eye or not.

I don't respect anyone who over wastes half their lives, hating people who bring far more to the table than them over the internet.

Don't talk about soy if this you. There's no men on this energy, gossiping over the internet like a little girl.

What makes Joe Rogan right wing? His stance on the constitution? Certainly can't be his voting record. Which he's very open about. So I'm assuming it's because he has some less than liberal guests on that you disagree with.

He's anti taxing the rich despite the greatest era of socialist mobility (1950s) coming with high taxation rates for the wealthy, believes people are poor because they don't work hard enough, criticizes neoliberals (not even really left) harshly like Trudeau and Biden but plays softball and takes pictures with Trump, anti-gun control, keeps platforming right wing and extreme right wing guests on his podcasts way more than progressives, repeats right wing talking points to simp for jordan peterson and elon musk, pushes anti-trans bigotry, fundamentally believes in capitalism with limited regulations, does propaganda for an anti-union fighting organization that underpays their fighters, anti environmental regulations/green new deal, complains about homeless people (without understanding that capitalism keeps a small % of the population homeless to surpress wages), anti-feminism, argues social meda companies censor conservatives more than progressives (factually disproven), repeats right anti-california talking points about crime when they aren't even in the top10 worst states, refuses to call out extreme wealth innequality. Said openly racist shit in the past, but I'll give him a pass on that because it was a long time ago.

The only that he says that is actually left wing is that he supports medicare for all, but then he doesn't use his platform (biggest podcast in the world) to advocate for it. And then he says some centrist-ish stuff about how he thinks gays have a right to marry and women can get abortions.

A big part of it, is he knows his core audience. White dudes, 25-45, primarily from the burbs. Guys that like to hunt. Guys that like weed. Guys that like to work out. Not all, but mostly guys in trades that can listen to him while they work. He tends to hit notes that resonate with that group. And they vote how? And whether it’s Kelly Clarkson’s daytime show or Joe Rogan’s podcast, you better believe they do audience research. You think women listen to Joe Rogan? Ah… no. They might watch his stand-up…maybe.

Edit, I actually have no clue who the hell watches his standup

he was as badass as an actor/ comedian could have been during the 90s to early 2000s.
Come on. He was the 5th or 6th most important character of NewsRadio. That's not being badass as an actor.

Where's the exaggerating part? Admittedly I didn't listen to it all, but it didn't hear Rogan talking about his "fighting career", as in MMA, being a killer on the streets or anything of those proportions.
Full disclosure, didn't watch the video because I'll be fucked if I'm giving that bullet head any clicks.

Having said that, I agree. I'm absolutely sick up to here of hearing about the guy, frankly, but he was a highly decorated champion in TKD, won the US open championship at 19. Outside of TKD and BJJ I've never heard him claim to be a big shot in much of anything else.

I was referring to the fact that he did some kickboxing fights and competed in martial arts, not as an actor.
