Joe Rogan bless

Edit: man fuck this new site layout

This layout is like going from fucking a 10, to fucking a 2 in the span of a week sir.
Depressing as fuck TBH with you lol

Wasn’t he just in TKD tournaments lol. Kids do the same stuff

I don’t doubt Joe did a Ton of tournaments. But it’s bizarre he barely has any footage . The Parents used to film those tournaments all the time, kids always wanted to see their match on tape. I guess he just didn’t care or didn’t have someone to take photos/videos. I have followed Joe for 20 years and barely know anything about his childhood. He’s very private on that stuff , which I respect.

He calls himself a kickboxer and a fighter but he is neither. He has a lot of people who play along with it and lick his boots because he has a big following
I noticed other people call him a fighter and he corrects them. He just says he did Tae Kwon Do tournaments , but he lets them know they were brutal. Also Joe is a BJJ black belt, a lot of people consider that a form a fighting even though he doesn’t compete. Remember the debates back in early 2000’s “is a Jiu Jitsu match a fight?” Lol people got heated!

This. His audience of bro culture hugs his nuts no matter how many lies and exaggerations he makes. There are actually serious podcasters that interview far better than Little Joe.

Just fo the record, Joe has always said that Taekwondo is not an efficient style of fighing even though he had a good level in the sport. I've always thought that was a good sign of humility, and in all the years of commentating the UFC, I barely remember him mentionning having a black belt or something. I just feel like he enjoyed practicing and obviously had a passion for BJJ.
Now, I guess he may say that to talk about both teakwondo and BJJ. And I have no problem with the idea of calling a BJJ contest a fight.

Btw, if some random purple belt in bjj says he has a fight, would you shit on him for using that word?

Now, those comments on "he's short so he tries to be the alpha" looks so low...

But I guess that's too much to ask to just have some nuance when it comes to Joe Rogan, there're just too many people who just want to shit on him every way they can. In some cases I think it's actually relevant, but this topic is not to me.
Ive watched enough rogan podcasts to know his tendencies and he def knows what hes doing when he flip flops depending on who hes talking to about competing vs fighting, Thats cool if you want to call to call a bjj match a fight, but realize and dont play dumb, that you are in the minority. Yes i would shit on a bjj purple belt saying he had a fight coming up it it was a bjj comp. Im a black belt in bjj and would never say i have a fight coming up if its bjj match. Im not shitting on him by the way. I listen to most of his podcasts and respect him but realize he is not a perfect human. And yeah i remember his saying that TKD wasnt an efficient fighting art, yet funny thing is when Machida and Wonderboy started winning, rogan says "i always thought somebody with that point fighting type style could do well in mma if they knew takedown defense."

WHo was that atrocious guest?
Joe: I was coming back from a baseball game with a buddy of mine
Guest: whhooooa

WTF

You‘ve never met people like that in real life? I know a dumbass who was awed by the very simple fact that I go to the gym four days a week. Right before he starts pretending to be smart and giving me advice on how three days a week is safer.

his last 3 fights where he got KOed and decided to stop his fighting career and be a comedian.
Apparently "JoRo" fighting was a joke, much funnier than his stand up.

Yeah I'm not sure why that guy is getting such a big push from Rogan and other bigger comedians. He isn't funny at all and his gimmick of looking like a more rapey Ron Jeremy is pretty weird.

If Joe fought professionally, he would basically be Denis Siver2.0

I've heard his street fights were particularly deadly
