I think people are drastically overestimating the power in Conor's hands. There is plenty for the lighter weight divisions, but he's primarily a precision striker that scores TKOs with volume. He's not the one punch KO artist that he's billed as currently. He does have excellent ability when countering to produce powerful shots due to his accuracy.
Agree with this. Robbie's chin is also extremely impressive. This dude eats bombs and smiles. Technically speaking, he's also come SO FAR over the last four or five years, it's ridiculous.
I'd pick Lawler today, and I would've picked him yesterday, before the Diaz fight.
I'm not sure who definitively beats Lawler so long as his chin holds up. The dude is a warrior with real skills. If a guy as big and technical as Rory can't beat him, I REALLY struggle to envision Conor beating him.
