Robbie Lawler would not "Absolutely Destroy" McGregor

McGregor losing to Diaz proves what exactly about Robbie "Journeyman" Lawler?

McGregor would still beat Lawler. Your "Just Bleed" hero is the most overrated fighter in the UFC.
What a joke. McGregor's power didn't translate very well against a freaking LW. Imagine him trying to take on a much larger (who has fought extensively at MW) brawler like Robbie. He would smash McGregor in every way conceivable. His kicks are vicious and could end McGregor in a second. He has power in BOTH hands that more than rivals McGregor's left hand. He's used to taking shots from guys that are bigger and stronger than Conor. This shouldn't even be sanctioned. LOL

I actually wanted Conor to defeat Nate. And then watch him destroying Lawler verbally. And then watch him getting destroyed by angry Lawler in the fight.

Well I don't think Lawler takes punches as well as Nate or boxes as well. I think if Robbie got hit with what Nate got hit with, he'd be unconscious. I also think that about most mma fighters ww and under. In ww, Condit and Rory have chins enough to take Conor's strongest punches, probably. But I don't think Hendrix or Lawler could take many of those and remain standing.

Nate can take a hell of a punch. Period. You can't generalize from that to other fighters who get rocked regularly!

I don't think this proves anything except that any lw or ww fighter who can take 10 left hands from Conor and still be conscious and coherent can probably beat him. I don't know that either Lawler or Hendrix would be in that group, mind you.

Nate def is.

Lawler would pound Conor into mashed taters, which you could then season with your extreme saltiness.

McG got mindwiped by a 70% power Diaz volume punch. Conor would drop after the first clean punch Lawler feeds him.

Not a huge McGregor fan, BTW. No salt here. I'm more of Lawler detractor, because like I said, he's the most overrated fighter in the UFC. Good for him, for resurrecting his career and all, but he holds a belt that GSP threw away. It's the pretender Championship, and having Robbie Brawler holding it, tells you how weak that division is.

He might beat McGregor at that weight, but he's still not very good.

So you think Conor matches up better against Wonderboy, Condit, Woodley, Rory, Hendricks, Maia, or GSP than against Robbie? Or who do you think is going to take the belt thats a better style match-up for Conor than stand and bang Robbie?

If you can't give me a legit answer, you agree with me, and you should remove me from that multi quote. You shouldn't lump me in with those other guys because I could see the UFC was trying to strike while the iron was hot and put him in against a guy he matched much better with stylistically without having to work his way up the division.

Looooooooooooololololololzzzzzzz

You guys have too much salt up your butt. Causing too much pain. Clowner likes to talk about "head clean off." Robbie would definitely oblige by knocking his head into the cheap seats. He's have Cloner following him around holding onto the handkerchief in his pants pocket. For those that don't know, that's what prison bitches do.

LOL even TS edited this shit out

they are so ashamed of all the delusional stuff they had been posting

sherdog has been great since sat lmao

Lol, did you seriously edit the OP? You could have just added a line instead of deleting everything that was there originally.

Lawler probably weighs 190 in the cage, that's app. 15-20 pounds of muscle more than Nate, he would absolutely wreck McGregor. Geez, Conor got wobbled by Nate Diaz who is not known for strong punches. Lawler on the other hand is.

Didn't Lawler also get KO'd by a fellow pillow fisted Diaz Bro?

I thought Conor would have a chance against Robbie... But now that I've seen how his power and his chin look at LW, I think a MW would accidentally kill him.

bahahahhh TS edited his op.

in what world is Lawler more overrated than McG?

in what world is Lawler more overrated than McG?

In a world where Lawler is a glorified journeyman, and McGregor lost out of his weight division.

Would you be giving Just Bleed Man, the same amount of shit if he lost at LHW? Doubt it. You'd be calling him a warrior.

McGregor made his own bed, so he deserves all the backlash he's getting. It's this notion that Robbie Lawler is some kind of great fighter, that baffles me.

where is the lawler hype?
where?
I havent seen anybody claiming Lawler can be 3 div champ or is a goat or p4p.
That Lawler hype exist only in your head.

Many years ago by Nick. The fact remains though, Lawler is much larger than Conor or Nate and would beat wholesale ass on McGregor.

It's around. It's nowhere near the McGregor, or Ronda level, but it's there.

Some people actually think he would smash GSP, which is absolute lunacy.

Dude, you're on the wrong track.
Conor doesn't match up well against anyone in the 170lb division.
A no-camp Diaz "fresh off the beach in Cabo" dismantled him in 2 rounds.

He wouldn't have a chance in hell against Robbie, or any of those murderers you listed.
Those guys are stepping into the octagon around 180-190lbs in peak shape. They'd pound him out fast.
He buckled under Nate's punches in 2 rounds. You think he'd have a better chance against a 190lb heavy handed brawler like Robby?
Please.
And I bet after Saturday night, Conor would be the first to agree.

Conor cleans house at 145, at 155 he's winning 5/10 fights, at 170 he's not breaking into the top 10.
I think he matches up pretty good against RDA. But he's gonna have to face a full camp, 100% confident 155lb Diaz, and well... Yeah.
