News Rizin Dying

1 year ago but Floyd said that Tank Davis and Tenshin are going to fight

Yep but Tank got a few fights with Showtime boxing as a headliner and his First PPV headline vs Leo Santa Cruz in the coming months, so no need for that at the moment. Tank would have hurt this kid, so it’s better that did not happened

rizin embarasses themselves every event

everyone knew the outcome of the fight before it happened. the japanese mafia was involved...

he at the very least took a dive

lol retard alert

you actually think they needed Tenshin to take a dive? he's a young kid that doesn't even box vs the GOAT. of course everyone knew the outcome. the fight was only made to bring attention to the promotion.

lol nobody would waste their money paying for something that is going to happen for free. Tenshin was significantly too small fighting in the wrong sport against the best ever.

I talked with the matchmaker, and it doesn't appear they're just looking to rebuild the interest in-country for now. Makes sense. I'm sure money is tight but it didn't sound like they were on the brink just yet.

A slow turnaround could be devastating. However, consider that IF Japan is back in full swing by December, a huge show with appeal could turn a thirsty public into a big boon for the company.

Musaev has re-signed with Rizin. Can't believe he turned down that 12/12 UFC offer.
Musayev is super legit, the UFC should have made a better offer but I understand he has 0 name value in the US so the UFC doesnt need to spend big on him.

Bro Tybura is boring as shit has no name value and they have the motherfucker on a 50k/50k deal

Jesus Christ, if thats how much Tybura is making then a 12k/12k offer for Musayev is insulting.

I appreciate you're joking, but as scummy as the UFC can be, I have a hard time believing they offered him anything close to that.

Really wonder what Rizin is paying him.

I'll be sad to see Rizin go, I've really enjoyed their events.

His coach said 12/12 was their offer in the big article about his supposed pay delay from RIZIN
He also said RIZIN is currently paying him 3x that

Link?

Also fuck the UFC. Tofiq is one of the best fighters on the planet right now.

Wow.............

Manel Kape makes his UFC debut in a month. Would they have offered him 12/12?

If this is accurate Jiri did okay in his debut: https://www.sportekz.com/mma/ufc-251-salaries-purse-payouts/

Leo Santos is getting fucking ripped off lol.

Can't stress enough that Musayev is one of the most interesting prospects out there at LW. Speed. Explosiveness. Striking. Wrestling. Conditioning. UFC is an embarrassment.

Remember Jiri rejected a UFC contract 2 or 3 years ago, they were probably also offering 12/12 and eventually got around to the 50/50 offer. With Musayev, they probably thought he was gonna jump at the opportunity to fight in the UFC for whatever peanuts they were offering but I guess he didnt. I actually thought Bellator was going to jump at the opportunity to add a stellar LW fighter like Musayev to their roster but apparently they didnt make a good offer either.

Leo Santos is not very active, I wonder how he is making money fighting once a year at 26/26.

My bad is actually a 68k/68k deal

Marcin Tybura: $136,000 (includes $68,000 win bonus) def. Maxim Grishin: $10,000
