Gaethje is a very good fighter but hes lost to both people conor fucking merked at the end of the day

Fighting Cerrone instead of Gaethje is only being smart if he thought he might not beat Gaethje. If he can beat either, obviously it's better to get the win over the higher ranked on a win streak instead of the lower ranked guy on a losing streak with a direct loss to the former in his last fight. I thought it was universally agreed on that wins over ranked guys in the top 5 are more valuable than wins over guy who aren't.

Conor likes cowboy and hates abdelaziz.. gaethje has been all over the place from calling conor out to not wanting to fight him.. if gaethje had played his cards better he'd be fighting conor now..

For the general crowd cowboy is probably a bigger fight than gaethje who got slept against 2 guys conor slept..

If conor can do business with a guy he likes over lining abdelaziz pockets he'll take it..

It’s a marketable fight.. And he has had a long lay off. Would I have preferred a fight with Justin? Yes. But Justin has not accomplished anything in the sport that warrants him demanding anything. Not at all. He needs to sit down and wait. Odds are very good this could be a fight that is booked very soon. Very good. Conor fights the best..
