The writing was tighter and overall episodes had better arcs during Steve's time, Jefferson was a better character.

Oh and somebody in another thread said Dennis Reynolds is the best narcissist since Sam Malone, he must've forgotten Jefferson m'fing Darcy.

Every one of them can fight. I used to love watching them fight as a family and always kicked ass and collected names. And Al was good for setting it off with his classic line...

That part of the line was the best when he used it to bomb the toilet at his work place when the boss turned it to a nursing home for house wives. Also that line was combined with Bad to the Bones song made me mark out
