revisiting married with children

What did you Married with Children fans think of Unhappily Ever After? I didn't watch it much but it seemed like a ripoff of MWC. Nikki Cox was so hot back then. Too bad she overdid the plastic surgery and turned herself into a mutant.

She was hot from the neck down. Face...I seen better.

Nikki Cox was way hotter then applegate, HOWEVER...

Marcy Darcy beat them both. She was rich, could hang with Al's comebacks and was absolutely down for whatever in the bedroom.

Done deal.

Anyone ever watch in on netflix? Where they had to change the theme song..it was really weird and off. Did not like that..not...one..bit.

Nope. I am finishing up with season 12 of NCIS and then onto Californication where the woman are hot, and lots of sex. Fuck MWC.

Still my favorite show. Al Bundy is a god.

As far as Steve vs Jefferson goes I enjoyed both. Steve was the last bastion of common sense on the show, while Jefferson's era was more and more cartoony. I appreciated both pretty much equally. The No MAAM and Nudie Bar episodes were the best though.

I've never really been into blondes but Kelly Bundy is smoking hot. Gotta love the basement dwellers and closet cases down on her.

It would be hard for a show like this to be on the network tv nowadays between the fat jokes and feminist jokes. Then again network sitcoms are shit nowadays anyway. Too cheesy and too boring. MWC always pushed the boundaries which is what makes comedy great.

It felt like the 90s (and the 80s I think) had companies giving show creators a lot of leeway on what shows get made. Mr. T got his own cartoon, they made a cartoon out of RoboCop even though the movie was a gore-fest and we all got Married With Children. There were still parent groups complaining back then but I guess post-2000, those groups gained more influence or something because the types of shows in the 80s/90s were not found post-2000.

I just bought the entire series for $20 at Best Buy.

Let's rock.

Historians will view that show as prophetic. Mayberry embodies No Ma'am in many ways.

I think it's a combination of the internet making it easier for those groups to have a voice and organize as well as the networks increasingly kowtowing to these nominal groups. Family Guy is the only show I can think of on Network that still pushes boundaries and that's a cartoon. At least on cable you have Always Sunny, Curb your Enthusiasm, South Park, Archer, and a few others that still don't censor comedy (well except for that Mohammad SP episode).

I unfortunately have to get up early for work, and this show is on tbs for like 3 hours each am

I admit I hated the show when I was younger(29 now), but I guess now I "understand" the show. No way most of the jokes would fly now, as they are all fat jokes and jokes about womanizing

Jefferson Darcy is one of the greatest characters ever imo
"Mrs bundy, the surgeons read the chart wrong.see how It said here to give him a circular incision?"

"Yes?"

" well they gave him a circumcision "

Fuck that show was awesome

Great show. It was one of the big four that helped Fox become popular in the early to mid-90s (Simpsons, married with children, cops, and obtaining rights for the NFC conference of the NFL we're all cornerstones for Fox)
