revisiting married with children

One of my favorite episode would be the pirate epsiode when Al was trying to fix the toilet while Peggy was telling a pirate story to Seven. One of mmy favorite moments of the show was when Al was chained to the mast and he was able to break the chains when the cabin boy-girl(Marcy) flashed him with her tits and Al said "verily, your flatness saved the day."

Also loved this part

let's not forget they also did seasonal episodes.
like the one where santa's parachute didn't open, and he ended up in the bundy's yard.

That's probably the best Christmas themed episode of any sitcom. The "It's A Wonderful Life" spoof was funny as well. Think it was the first appearance by Jefferson, just not as Jefferson.

The Halloween episode with The Village People was pretty good too.

of course after wtf'img @ the episode being mentioned where they eat burgers made with mary's aunt's ashes, it was on tonight lol.

just thought peggy's outfit was nice
n lul'd @ peggy strangling kelly at the end xD

Well the early seasons were more realistic than the Jefferson seasons but even the early seasons were farfetched. They still drove the "Bundys are so poor" angle back then backed up by the fact that the only income came from Al working in a Mall shoe store that seemed to get very little traffic. Nevertheless, they somehow afford to live in a 2-story, 3 bedroom home along with a car in the same neighborhood as Steve and Marcy who seemed to be upper-middle class.

Al knocks out burglar: "I don't even let the bank in here, and they own it"

I never took it literally that Al had no money, he obviously worked his ass off, it was just that after paying bills and his family he had nothing left for himself!

Holy shit that was hilarious. I remember even the studio crowd shrieking from the hysterical laughter.

I really liked the one episode with Charlie Verducci. They really should have made him a recurring character

Probably top 5 shows of all time IMO. So far ahead of its time.

I don't know that they could do that show in today's politically correct climate.

The epic Sunday night lineup on Fox during the early 90s would trigger a nationwide meltdown of butthurt today. A show like In Living Color is unimaginable by today's PC rules.

Can you imagine if the "fat-acceptance" movement existed back then lol

People always shit on the London episodes, but I loved those.

Another hottie I remember was Marcy's hot niece, Amber.

LOL. Would love to see Al Bundy confront a fat acceptance gang in the shoe store.

There was an episode all the fat women he insulted stormed the shoe store, tied him up and "put him on trial."
