Love the show. Contrary to popular opinion, I thought it got better aND better, for the most part. The Jefferson Era is definitely better than the Steve Era.


Ed O'Neil gave so much to that character with just his facial expressions alone. One of the GOAT sitcom characters. Also, as he got older, David Faustino just kept getting funnier and funnier.


Best episode: Luck of the Bundys (season 8, I think )

Every kid loved Kelly Bundy the first few years of the show.

Hell I had a poster of her on my wall.


And the show was years ahead of its time. some great writing on that show. Plus Al is the best.
 
I think the tornado episode is my all-time favorite. Just so many crazy moments from the fat lady falling on Peg and Al to Al smacking the shit out of Jefferson for suggesting to reveal the secret exit.
 
The part that defines marriage would be the episode were Peggy takes Al lingerie shopping. Peggy picks a lingerie and ask Al and if he would like to see her in it. Al looks across the store and sees a hot young blonde. "I rather see her in it." At the same moment the young blond ask her husband if he would like to see her in a lingerie she pick out. He responds "I would really like to see that redhead in it."

No Ma'am was easily the weakest long running theme on the show.

Definitely one of the best shows of all time. The first season wasn't so great, (that's the case with a lot of shows I find) and obviously it was a bit much by the end of the show when the kids were like 30, but man this show in it's prime was genius and holds up great today. I prefer Jefferson but I really enjoyed the Steve era as well. I loved how they were always clowning on how broke the Bundy's were, like how they would eat toaster shakings for a meal lmao. I remember in another episode Marcy says you should put your cups and glasses upside down in the cupboard so they don't collect dust inside. Al tells her they call that porridge. I think that might have been the same episode where Peg tells Marcy "chill out, chiclet chest" lmao.

She was sort of 80s/90s hot... You know.... High waisted pants, weird contours that emphasized legs rather than ass. Weird shit going on.

I watch this show quite regularly, as I'm up all the time. Still hilarious.

A fat woman came into the shoe store today, and she was so fat.. She actually had three smaller fat women.. Orbiting around her.
