Resident Evil 3 Remake

REmake 2 essentially made zombies an obstacle again - now you actually need to make a decision if you want to conserve ammo, try to dodge em or take a longer route, or do you try take em out. You can easily cripple em aswell by knee caping. Fantastic design imo, the game wouldnt work if the zombies were like other RE zombies where they go down in 1 headshot.

Fuck this is essentially what @Dizzy said.

As for the RE demo, I went back and apparently I missed a whole section where you could get a red dot sight from a safe. Damn and its all interconnected. Essentially like the RPD but "outside", such nice design here holy crap. Wanted to try and learn the dodging, I still suck at it lol. Might go back and practice on nemsis.
Yeah, I went through that section my first play through with Nemesis on my ass and a zombie that had woken up lol.

I liked the throwback to Aqua Cure they worked in.

Youre literally at the bottom of the pile, near mr mafia, on the sub forum.

Why play games you dont like?

I just completed the RE3 demo. It took a few tries, but I eventually found out how to drop Nemesis. Then put the fire out.

Thoughts:

It's good, I like the voice actress for Jill, it's just right. As soon as she started speaking in that opening cut-scene, I smiled, I was like "yeah, this is Jill".

The models for Carlos and Jill look good, too.

The level design is great. I'm looking forward to playing the whole game.

Annoying the REsistance Beta doesnt work on the PS4.

Sounds about right. The original game was 7 hours. Resident Evil 2 is only 9 hours. It's artificially longer by playing the game twice with different characters and a slightly different story.
Yes but the original had tons of different scenarios that encouraged replayability. Plus the RNG factor of what items you would get where and enemies.

Wonder what could it be? Would they remake Resident evil 1 under this engine?
That would be so awesome. Outside of CV/Dino Crisis I'd love to see that one done in the RE engine.

There is no need for a RE1 remake, I hope they dont go there. Its probably RE4, and theyre probably gonna start it off, and then get the big boys in to finish it off.

RE3 is short, I dont care about length, its about quality. Im so excited for it.

REmake is older than RE4. It’s the only entry in the series that still hasn’t had a modern update. Playing through the mansion in the new engine would be insanely awesome. Plus I think RE4 would be handled by Capcom themselves if they were doing a ground up remake. It’s their cash cow, couldn’t imagine them handing it off to another developer.

Won’t be surprised either way though.

Sounds like we should be getting RE8 this year.
