Resident Evil 3 Remake

RE3 is short, I dont care about length, its about quality. Im so excited for it.

I’m still excited but I thought they might have fleshed stuff out more. Maybe giving Carlos a big section.

I’m gonna be pretty annoyed if I finish in 5 hours. Might push me to play through hardcore first. We’ll see.

I wouldve started with that but the zombies aint no joke and Nemesis hits too hard in Hardcore apparently.

Plus I think RE4 would be handled by Capcom themselves if they were doing a ground up remake. It’s their cash cow, couldn’t imagine them handing it off to another developer.

Won’t be surprised either way though.

RE4 is gonna be their 8 year project kind of plan, its no big deal if the small fih come up with cool ideas, and they get fully into development for next gen in a year or so. RE4 is gonna be so good.

I personally enjoyed RE1 more than the remake. REmake beats it in the atmosphere, graphics etc but the charm of the first game etc just gets me more.

I'll believe it when I see it.

That said, I did predict that the RE3make would be released in Late Summer / Early Fall. So I was wrong about that.

REmake is older than RE4. It’s the only entry in the series that still hasn’t had a modern update. Playing through the mansion in the new engine would be insanely awesome. Is anyone else bothered by L2 being the aim button? My thumb hurts, i odnt know if im getting old but i thought most games used L1.

This was the case for last gen, but they they copied the xbox trigger shooting for the PS4.

I revert to L1/R1 for most of my games, it still feels weird to me to shoot with triggers cause there is a slight delay.

I always thought it felt weird on a PS controller. Not sure if that's because they started out using R1/L1 for shooters, and then switched it up, but I always thought the R1/L1 buttons felt more natural for aim n' shoot.

Disappointed to see Nemesis after the first portion is mostly scripted or QTE style, RE3 back in the day was badass, just walking anywhere and he jumped out at random.

Nemesis disappears for the last portion of the game (outside of boss fights), and most of the time when he appears are not random. (usually a cutscene shows of him appearing)

If I can get a 6 hour experience out of this that feels nearly perfectly paced like the original, thats money well spent.

Im looking forward to the game. Gonna play the beta tomorrow as its out on the PS4 now aswell.

I call bullshit, especially on a first playthorugh. On a second playthrough, thats sounds about right for an RE game.

£40 for a great experience is fine by me.
