When it comes to communicating a message, the means you use to do so can be just as important as the message itself, if not more.

If your intended audience doesn’t understand your point or are instantly inclined to dismiss it because of how you told it to them, then the validity or lack thereof of said point becomes irrelevant.

And in this particular case, the delivery was so astoundingly imbecilic in its incompetence, that trying to debate the substance of the message is frankly a waste of time because it is irrelevant. The delivery was so, so bad that it destroyed any chance whatsoever it had reaching of the people the Republicans needed it to reach, i.e. people who aren’t already on board with voting for Trump.

If the main takeaway everyone has after you give a speech is "What the fuck is wrong with that woman?!”, then debating the actual points you were trying to make is a waste of time.
