Reem would destroy Cain

what's up with your sig? do you mean "intact"?

you're weird. your sig is weird. i saw someone respond to one of your posts with "you are the worst poster in these forums" and i'm going to go ahead and agree with him.

You came to that conclusion over a sig?

I've looked at a lot of these threads. Anderson Silva is one of the most diverse fighters in the UFC, from his Muay Thai to his Jiu Jitsu. The same can be said for the majority of the title holders from feather to light heavy weight. The only difference was Junior Dos Santos. He has a jiu jitsu background but has chosen to employ his boxing. The type of cardio it takes to box is vastly less than what it takes to grapple. That's what you saw last night. In boxing you can reset and get yourself together. In a wrestling match or jiu jitsu match if you relax the other guy will pound/submit you.JDS has to bring more to the table then just great boxing. Cain is one of the best strikers in the UFC. He lands more significant strkes then any other fighter in the organization and has an above 60 percent takedown advantage which is the highest in the Heavy weight division.

You think Overeem has the cardio to go against Cain? Cain showed up for his last two fights. Look at what happened to Big foot and Dos Santos. I don't care if Junior never quit, loot at his face. He got finished in my book. At no point was I ever worried about Cain being able to win either by TKO or Decision. After the third round it was clear if this fight continued the only hope Junior would have to keep his belt was to knock out Cain. Since that never seemed remotely possible I think this was a beat down like the Silva fight. Both men showed up in top condition unlike the last fight and look what happened. Cain's a fucking beast. Cain continues the trend for the title holders to be complete fighters standing and on the ground. Reem is going to get owned like Django's wife if he thinks his suspect cardio can match the pace that Cain works at.

I get a good laugh at all you Overeem haters.

Jds striking was never on reems level Overeem is all around a better striker, reem is stronger, and more proven off his back.

Last night Cain rushed foward his leaving himself open jds did not utilize a jab or anything to stop Cain. Then in the clinch jds had opportunities to land knees the whole night. Cain has sloppy striking leaving himself open reem will get the ko.

I know this forum hates on reem so Idc about your responses hope UFC get Cain in mexico quick he won't be champ for long

So you think Cain will have the same gameplan for Reem (assuming Reem beats Silva - and based on Reem's uneven performances in his last few fights - like getting outstruck by BJJ whiz Werdum, I wouldn't bet your house on that)? Wow, you must have followed MMA for about thirty minutes now.

Move along, and let the adults talk, junior.

For starter if they clinch, Cain is doom. If Cain goes for a TD, I doubt Reem can find his way back and avoid another. I saw Reem gassed before but havent seen Cain

Boxing and grappling cardio are totally different. Apples to oranges, honestly. That being said in my experience boxing or any type of striking takes more out of you then grappling.

haha. i can't say i disagree. you make a solid point. but i would like to see cain and bigfoot again. i'm not sure it would go down the same as the first. cain would still win but i think bigfoot is better than that.

cain has been rocked before and although jds got his ass handed to him he did knock cain out the first time. not sure why everyone is taking that away from jds. cain being healthy or not has nothing to do with the fact that cain can be beaten with one solid punch. these are heavyweights, anything can happen. AO could land clean and put Cain out. but i do believe cain is the better fighter.

after watching cain last night i think they have the same cardio issues

TS, Alistar will get his chance to prove your point

Lol, Reem won't be calling out Cain. He just has a puncher's chance on Cain in the first two minutes, as did JDS.

You must've missed last nights match then.:icon_lol:
Having said that there is no doubt that Cain has a cardio advantage over Reem. The leaning up on the cage, clinch work won't work well against Reem though, Cain will have to shoot for takedowns.

Interesting match, hopefully Bigfoot doesn't screw it up!

If Reem doesn't win within the first three minutes he's not going to beat Cain. Can't wait to see if it happens. But Reem's got a fight before that and he's going to get tested again.

LOLOL. Cain only beat JDS and Bigfoot. Neither of those guys would even come close to beating Overeem and Cain will get beat down as well.
