I know, but seeing our ancestors smoke such primitive crap makes you wonder if the 80s and 70s were really just that great. Them movies make those times look like the bee's knees, but maybe there's a darker side to those rose colored glasses.

Blue Dream would be good for you then. It's not nearly as strong as GSC n is sativa it's a great during the day weed.

If you got wrecked from GSC don't try gorilla Glue #4 then as it's stronger lol.

I guess an update is appropriate. Blue Dream is pretty nice, seems like Blueberry for the most part but more uplifting and without the couch lock. I sometimes get a bit depressed with Blueberry if I have too much when I'm not in the right mood, Blue Dream doesn't do that which is good. On the other hand it's easier to veg out and sleep after getting baked on Blueberry.

Gorilla Glue #4 is definitely a one hit and quit for me. 1/3 to 1/2 of a small joint was enough to get as baked as I ever want to get, I tried a full one and it was just way too much. Went from horny as fuck and banging my wife to depressed as hell and contemplating the futility and meaninglessness of my life in like an hour. I need to take it easy with this one or lightly sprinkle it into my other weed for extra zip.

I am not sure if this is still around. In NYC, there is an area called Washington Heights. They used to have these non engrish speaking Dominicans selling something called Puday. It's some sort of haze that gets you really high with one pull. You can split a dime with 4-5 people smoking off a tiny blunt. There is a unique smell to it and the weed looks like flatten squished garbage. When I was a teenager, I spent a week smoking that and I had to stop because I wasn't getting high from other weed anymore.

I lived in California and they don't have anything like it. Maybe it is nostalgia glasses or I was smoking angel dust. I haven't smoked in a long time but I still think about smoking that.

I remember growing up in HS late 80s an early 90s. The weed everyone talked about was "chocolate thai" . I had it a few times back then or what they said was CT n it would get decimated by even a mediocre weed strain today. Imo

I think I found a new favourite weed strain - Gorilla Butter. All the disoriented time warp effects of Gorilla Glue without the couchlock and depression, this shit is awesome. I can literally get lost and have an adventure in my own home without getting freaked out or anything bad, it's a nice chill space & time warp where I don't even know where the fuck I am or what I'm doing for the first half hour. Music is intense as hell, I put on some Bob Marley and I swear to god I was at the concert, even though that's impossible because I wasn't even born yet. And when it finally wears off I sleep like a baby.
