last night's OFF struck me as pretty good with the action, if a little sloppy technically at times.
Naruo, fucken deadly ball-kick with his left leg, really whips it into the liver, heavy fast hands, good distance control, looks a real prospect especially as I think he is like 19YO. oh and a great example of why just standing upright and using the double guard 'lalala I can't hear you' hope-for-the-best 'defence' is a fucken terrible idea even in the big gloves, Naruo just fucken murdered him through and around that inviting target-I-mean-'guard'
Bauza: An Argentinian fighter who comes forward with great aggression and throws almost exclusively bombs with the heavy hooks and overhands, who would have thought it, haha
As I kind of suspected Khunponnoi's physicality and power and aggression just about overmatched Sonrak's counter-fighting, good fight though, rematch would be fine, Khunpunnoi had to walk through some very clean counters for the W
It looked like Kochasit was getting the better of Petninmungkorn in a rough&ready type brawl but Pet was trying to walk him onto that big counter right hand all night and has heavy hands
good old Khunsuk, absolutely always in a good fight, I was pretty impressed with Pet as Khunsuk was bringing the pressure, Pet showed some heavy and accurate hands to get the finish
Petlampun couldn't get Kritpet's timing down until he just let it all fly in the last round which may leave him regretting the fact he didn't push the tempo earlier, Kritpet's use of posturing and pullbacks to bait and counter him and control distance was pretty impressive, for most of the fight he just had Petlampun just following him ineptly around the ring looking bemused and eating shots.
That upright chin ended up costing Kompet. Chartpayak's hands are absolutely fucken deadly in exchanges, I mean he is an excellent puncher in general but it's when he gets to throw combinations in like transitions after slipped or missed shots by his opponent that they really seem to shine, and once he has the man buzzed, the speed and angles he lets the shots go with are almost bewilderingly fast and heavy. Seamless with how he will switch stances mid-combo too and if anything his southpaw overhand/hook is deadlier than from orthodox.
Chartpayak is surely a threat to anyone at 126lbs, I'd love to see him against Ortikov, would be really interesting to see if Ortikov's (seemingly considerable) fighting ego would get him exchanging punches with Chart, or whether he'd try and play a purely distance-based game.
