Reasons GSP is immune?

He's one of the most consistent top level fighters ever, so that leads to expectations, but he isn't immune to those things. I think most fans ignore those things since they're unknowns. There's no way to know if those general/personal things affect him since, for example, Cruz is once again the champ. So what fans really know is his last fight where he didn't look good, but didn't look bad either. And then you look at the Woodley match-up and compare their skills. And the Rory/Woodley fight. I think Woodley wins by KO for several reasons.

Ben outwrestles Hendricks who nullified GSP'S wrestling and outstruck him. Give Ben a crisp jab, a few Superman punches and a spinning side kick and they are EXACT replicas. They fight 85 percent on the ground and that is where they stay. Only Ben does it better arguably.

Lol at Ben being better on the ground as GSP. He was tapped like 12 times in 90 seconds against Garcia.

Ben is a superior take down artist. Garcia is world class jiu jitsu and would school anyone.
Ben's a nobody and everyone knows it. How many top 5 wins does he have? Seriously, step that troll game up or quit.

Many fans are clamoring for GSP to return to his rightful throne by beating Woodley. As much as the nostalgist in me believes, the realist has a few questions:

1. Why wouldn't 3 years worth of ring rust be an issue? I realize if you've never competed in MMA, then ring rust is just a term. But fighter's know that it is real and can make a fighter look a former shell of themselves.
2. Does a second knee surgery (one on each knee and one post retirement) not affect him just because he is the GOAT at WW? What about the doubt he is sure to have since it would be his first time competing with his surgically repaired knee.
3. Would his fragile psychological state show up on fight night? Remember, last time he was in the octagon he took the worst beating this side of Matt Serra. Not only that, but it caused him to abandon ship has yet to set sail again since. Is he immune to the pressures and expectations that once chased him off the throne? Keep in mind, it was the pressure and expectations that sent him running for the hills 3 years ago.

Anyone care to answer these?

"fragile psychological state" - false
"it caused him to abandon ship" - also false

Moron, his face looks like that after every fight, he marks up easily.
Again, you are wrong. GSP's face had never looked like it did after Hendricks abused it. Not even when Matt Serra was playing his head like a drum, forcing the "GOAT" to submit due to STRIKES!!! You ever get tired of looking like a fool?

If it's so false, why is he on the shelf during the last good years of his prime. Oh, that's right, he needed some sleep and, in his own words, was going "crazy." Remember the whole Alien abduction thing??? Or the nightmares? Or the constant pressure and expectations getting to be too much? Yea, real psychological fortitude there..

I'm pretty sure win or lose, he was going to retire (take a break?) that night. He said weeks before the fight he would make an announcement that night.
When does a break become retirement? 5yrs? 10yrs? Or can GSP take a break indefinitely, get injured over and over and still always be a threat to active fighters/ champions?

GSP showed so much excellence in his UFC career (despite a couple of missteps)

so people can see him taking this challenge on

Dana arguably shielded his cash cow GSP from Ben and everyone knows this. The one thing that George could control in the past would be taken from him. He would look as vulnerable and bewildered as he did in the Hendricks fight except it would be worse.

Snyper is a Troll - Confirmed
Psychologically fragile? GSP tapped to strikes against Matt Serra!!! He cited pressure and expectations, nightmares, UFO's, doping, etc as reasons he ran for the hills, but sounds more like weak excuses -Confirmed
Caused him to abandon ship? I stand by that. All the talk immediately after was about GSP and Hendricks rematching since many feel it was an outright robbery. (Top 3 in my opinion)
It wasn't until his his retirement talks that people shifted focus. Hendricks arguably won and definitely gave GSP a beating and his toughest fight of his career(except Serra). Now he wants to come back against anyone but Johny. If he was so OCD competitive and the GOAT, don't you think he'd want to leave no doubt and further cement his legacy? Yet, when it comes to Johny, silence. - Confirmed

Cruz didn't really dis-prove ring rust. What Cruz proved was that ring rust did not apply to him. Cruz is immune to ring rust. That does not mean that others are. Cruz is an extremely cerebral fighter though. In fact, the only other fighter that really approaches the game from such a heavy cerebral standpoint is Georges St. Pierre, so in the end, you may be correct that ring rust is not a factor for GSP. I had to arrive at the conclusion differently than you though. It is the cerebral nature of GSP's fight game that makes him comparable to Cruz when talking about things like ring rust. Other fighters though, ring rust is a real thing.
or woodley lol --no such thing as ring rust IF you train correctly

Didn't Johnny Hendricks run him the fuck out of town?

It was mostly Sherdoggers who run him out of town.

GSP said he'd retire long before it was known he would face Johnny Crybaby Hendricks.

He came back stronger than ever after the Ko loss Vs Serra.

Gsp is mentally strong.
He had other personal problem when he fought Hendricks
Plus there's a lot of shade over Hendricks "training methods" before that fight.

Now he wants to come back against anyone but Johny.
The GOAT comes back to the guy who lost to USADA and is a nobody now? Hilarious. Keep reaching troll.

You mean saying you will do random testing twice to then refuse and admit you were never going to do it is shady?

You're a moron, Ben flat out said he had no interest in the UFC when Dana said Ben was looking good. He likes being the big fish in a little pond.
