Reasons GSP is immune?

It will not be as easy as many are claiming. I'll be rooting for him if/when this fight happens.

He doesn't want just any fight. He wants a big money fight or just to pretend he's fighting again to keep his name out there.

1. Ring rust is certainly an issue for a guy that has been off for 3 years and who has an extraordinary amount of pressure on him to perform.

2. Double knee surgery is bothersome, especially when you are talking about a guy that relies on an explosive double leg.

3. I'm with you on 1 and 2, but 3 is just false. Georges had talked about retirement long before the Hendricks fight. We all knew he was thinking about retirement several fights before Hendricks and that he had planned an announcement after the Hendricks fight, win or lose.

As a huge GSP fan, I'm with you, I'll always pull for Georges to win. My gut tells me he shouldn't return though. His career is enough, it speaks volumes. 25-2, left as champion. Not many sports stars get that sort of story book ending. I wish he would just let it be what it is.

1. Cruz dis-proved ring rust. You need to train correctly.
2. Surgery and recovery methods for knee injuries have improved
