It will not be as easy as many are claiming. I'll be rooting for him if/when this fight happens.
GSP IS NOT GONNA FIGHT........WHY...... $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.. HE MAKES TOO MUCH $$$ VIA ENDORSEMENTS AND PRETENDING HE MIGHT FIGHT. IF he fights and loses and loses badly there goes the golden goo$e. HE IS SMART TO NOT FIGHT AND HANG AROUND LIKE HE IS TO KEEP HIS BUZZ GOING
Many fans are clamoring for GSP to return to his rightful throne by beating Woodley. As much as the nostalgist in me believes, the realist has a few questions:
1. Why wouldn't 3 years worth of ring rust be an issue? I realize if you've never competed in MMA, then ring rust is just a term. But fighter's know that it is real and can make a fighter look a former shell of themselves.
2. Does a second knee surgery (one on each knee and one post retirement) not affect him just because he is the GOAT at WW? What about the doubt he is sure to have since it would be his first time competing with his surgically repaired knee.
3. Would his fragile psychological state show up on fight night? Remember, last time he was in the octagon he took the worst beating this side of Matt Serra. Not only that, but it caused him to abandon ship has yet to set sail again since. Is he immune to the pressures and expectations that once chased him off the throne? Keep in mind, it was the pressure and expectations that sent him running for the hills 3 years ago.
Anyone care to answer these?

He planned to leave his belt and retire? Did you see his face after the fight? Did you hear his post fight interview with Rogan? Did you hear, out of his own mouth, the reasons he retired such as, "pressure, expectations, doping, personal issues, not getting enough sleep, nightmares(of fighting Hendricks, I believe). The list goes on but you really should do your own research before resorting to name calling like we are still in 3rd grade.

The guy who GSP beat before USADA and looks horrible since USADA? Nope. Only an idiot thinks that.Didn't Johnny Hendricks run him the fuck out of town?
Yes moron, did you even watch the fight? Rogan had to ask him what his planned announcement was.He planned to leave his belt and retire?
He should return at LW imo.As a huge GSP fan, I'm with you, I'll always pull for Georges to win. My gut tells me he shouldn't return though. His career is enough, it speaks volumes. 25-2, left as champion. Not many sports stars get that sort of story book ending. I wish he would just let it be what it is.
GSP is Ben Askren with a French Canadian accent and good looks. He is the Lay n Pray GOAT. That is all.GSP is immune to needing the UFC or to prove anything to anyone.
WW GOAT and arguably the MMA GOAT.
Is that why he outstruck every opponent? You are clearly a moron.GSP is Ben Askren with a French Canadian accent and good looks. He is the Lay n Pray GOAT. That is all.
