Im literally not kidding at all.
I fuckin hated that film.

My brother made me watch it when it first came out.
I said to him, I really just watched a girl die for an hour and a half after THE corniest looking fall in history?

I was like wow, great.
He said you didn't think that was good?

I laughed...no I thought that was dog shit.

We argued about it all week, and I still think it's shite even after watching it 2 more times on my own to see if I was missing something.

The writing, acting, it's after school special levels.
No disrespect to you....but you and my brother can kiss my ass with that movie sir lmao.

The fall is my only gripe with the film. It was horrible. I thought all 3 actors did an incredible job and the story was great as well. But I know it's not for everybody nor do I ever try to convince anyone it is.

There's really only 3 films Clint's in that I love and could watch all the time, and neither 3 are films he directed or pass 1970

This is the reason I like having conversations with you sir.
We both get to say our parts without being whiny bitches about it lol.

The outlaw josey wales
The good the bad and the ugly
Dirty Harry
In the line of fire
Heartbreak Ridge etc.

All awesome Eastwood movies.

You're a good egg sir.

My 3 favs are

1. Good bad ugly
2. For a few dollars more
3. Kelly's heroes

Dirty harry to me is a bit overrated. It's a great film and maybe he his most popular but there's a few flaws or issues that I didn't care for. It's still an 8 for me but I feel it gets way more love compared to Clint's other movies.

I'm also a big fan of High Plains Drifter because it's the complete opposite of what Clint was playing. And I like the comedy in it too.

The Beguiled is his most underrated imo great film.

In the line of fire was also great and it had 2 excellent scenes, the opening and when Clints hanging off the ledge.

A perfect world is Clint's most underrated film he directed along with Kevin Costner best performance

Check out the Costner film No Way Out

Never seen The Beguiled sir.

Also any which way but loose is a good one.
Dirty Harry gets love because of the lines...are you feeling lucky punk, and go ahead, make my day.
Massively quotable, especially for the time.

I think the reason why I personally like The outlaw Josey Wales is the revenge angle, and some of the characters are timeless to me on a personal level.

The good the bad and the ugly is the best pure western ever made.

The beguiled is such a great watch for me. Basically about Clint is a solider in the civil war and he finds refuge in a all women's school where he becomes desirable to all the women and girls there. It's from the same director as dirty Harry and escape from Alcatraz

Plus 1 or the girls in it is so stunningly beautiful

JFK is awesome sir.
Great cast, great acting...well written.

A few posters have suggested it to me but I'm not a huge Oliver Stone fan even though many consider this 1 of his best.

It's on the list but not sure when I'll ever get to seeing it.

But that's just YOU deciding what a truly great film is. YOU don't get to do that, millions of other people do. I don't necessarily disagree with you, but you make these statements like they're fact

panic room > tombstone

Also, lol at this film having more 10 and 9 than Heat, collateral, memento

What did this movie bring to cinema? An innovation, something memorable?

What impact it has to show that it’s worth being considered a masterpiece?

Lol you are an absolute trip sir.
This right here is why I stopped commenting on your threads.

You just want the confirmation on your thoughts, because you always think you're right.

Have a good one.

It’s my point of view, but in this case it’s correct. You gonna compare a hack like Cosmatos to one of the greatest directors of the last 30 years?

Obviously anything Fincher, or Mann have done beats it

Plus Escape from Alcatraz is an underrated movie.
Loves that one.

Again, those aren't facts

I have never steered you wrong sir, put your bias to the side and just watch it like he had nothing to do with it.

It is worth the time.

I actually thought Wyatt Earp was a better movie in total, but Tombstone had the much better Doc Holiday. Just my opinion.
Still, Tombstone was a great movie
