Rahkmonov kinda sucked

He looked better than Chimaev vs his only strong opponent.
 
He looked pretty underwhelming when compared to some of the things I have been reading about him on here. I think Khamzat destroys him based on this last fight

Fighters winning doesn't mean they are good, just means they suck less than the guy they beat.
 
Shavkat looked hittable but this fight was awesome IMO

The rear-uppercut is so bad, mma fighters seem to always throw it without their lead-hand glued to their temples. I suppose with mma gloves it's easier to get clipped anyways but why not try lol? JDS v Blaydes & Till vs Woodley came to mind immediately when I saw Shavkat throw it naked. He did have a really sick rear-uppercut to the off of a counter straight left that pretty glorious tho.

Depends on if he gets him to the ground and is able to dominate the grappling imo.

Khamzat almost got planked twice against Burns who isn't remotely the level of striker that Neal is.

If he can't grapplefuck Shavkat it could get ugly.

I don't see many WW's sign up to fight that guy.. lol.. Heavy handed, good cardio, creative striking and granite chin.. Props to Neal for stepping up to the challenge. It will be difficult to get top guys to fight Shavkat I'm telling yall
 
I will say I wasn't disappointed with Shavkat's stand up as much as I was with his grappling, Neal looked to be on the same level grappling with him so I can only imagine what Khamzat would do to Shavkat. I am way more confident Khamzat would beat him.
 
Shav really leans on that outside trip Ive seen him go for a lot. Not the best TD to go for either against competent grapplers, Id say a very inferior TD to the competent ones.


It would look to me at this stage Khamzat could outgrapple Shavkat…
 
I definitely don't agree with your overall analysis/statement. But do agree that he just lets bombs get landed on him with little defense. That won't work out too long for him. Geoff could have easily finished him at any point.

That said, Rhakmonav is fucking awesome.

Namely someone in his camp needs to tell him its not a good thing to get hit in the head so much. Neal landed CLEAN each round. He wasnt the man to take advantage of theae free throws but someday he wont be able to rely on this wheat plowing strategy of his. The other stuff wss ok but was certainly overshadowed by the mumber of times he got drilled but in awkward positioms too like as hes throwing.

Lol sherdoggers also complain when a guy is too cautious and point fights, and also complains when a guy is too aggressive and risky.

i guess individual fighters have to fight exactly how we like them to or else they suck lolz

He looked pretty good. Neal looked out of shape though, I think it would have been closer if he was better prepared.

Idk about that, I would say they both put out the same performance. They both stood and banged and tagged their opponent with hard shots but also got hit in return.

I will say that Shavkat was lucky he has a solid chin cause anyone else would have KO’d with the shots that Neal was landing.
