Rahkmonov kinda sucked

"He doesnt respect your power geoff!"

If this is true than that is just scary. He was walking him down and eating flush neal bombs, came out looking fresh and unphased with very little bruising. Wtf is he made out of

I swear these "fans" don't know wtf they're talking about when it comes to a fight like this.
They say, "Oh he sucks", yet the guy went and got the finish even though he could've coasted.

Had he coasted this guy would say, "Oh look, he was scared to engage".
Shavkat fought a tough guy and won...not only that but he finishes him and still these guys talk shit.

Its enough to make you wanna tell them to go fuck themselves, but it wouldn't be worth the thumb workout to type sir lol.
Well said sir.

This is the problem with the Eastern European/Caucasian/Russian fighters. They look untouchable against a certain level of competition. Then, when they reach elite levels, even with a win, they look human, and people rush to say that it is just hype. Shavkat is a beast and elite level talent, but same with khamzat he’s not going to look untouchable against elite competition

I think he was kinda great. It was refreshing to see someone actually not afraid to get hit, unlike
the No Love who put up a weak showing.

He got hit with some big shots yesterday and that is never a good thing, but Neal is top 5 material and was underrated going into this fight.

8/10 performance for Shavkat.
He faced adversity, gave us a great fight and ultimately won in a dominant fashion. I’m looking forward to his next fight, Burns vs Masvidal winner would be interesting.

He was a bit reckless, but got his well deserved FOTN bonus. He could've won if he point fought from the outside like Wonderboy did a couple of years ago, but opted for the just bleed option. I mean are we shitting on just bleed guys now?
Yes sherdog shots on just bleed guys and it's retarded. Justin Gaethje gets the same treatment. If you hate Izzy's boring fights then you should embrace guys who are down to go out on their shield

Shavkat showed he is legit last night. He was able to overcome adversity and still went for the finish.

He's a complete fighter, other than the striking defense. His great chin obviously kept him out of trouble last night, but may not be the best strategy for longevity in the division.

He's hittable. No one at the in the top 5 throws bombs though so he should be ok.

"He's not invincible, he sucks!!"

Yeah obviously Shavkat has flaws but he still proved that he's definitely a top 5 WW tonight. Is every fighter suppose to finish the fight in 30 seconds without taking hits or they suck? The fact that he stood with one of the most explosive fighters in the division and out striked him is impressive.

Neal is criminally underrated around here. After Luque I think it was, I saw multiple posters around here calling Neal one of the best boxers in the UFC. Now Shavkat sucks for finishing him in a fucking awesome fight. The fuck guys?

He went toe to toe with arguably the hardest hitter in the division winning every round then choked him out standing. What the fuck else could he have done?
Not get hit much? If you(80% posters here) bothered trying to get my idea i wasnt so much it was the opponent as much as it was either his porous defense or lownfighting IQ to absorb unnecessary punishment

He will meet his maker very soon if he keeps that up

Thats all I meant Its amazing how ballistic this olace gets when you go against the echo chamber grain lol

amusing

Mate you weren't just critical of aspects of his performance, you said he sucked lol. You're rightfully getting cooked for saying something so stupid.

While not championship material, Neal’s not exactly a can.

It's weird. At times, his boxing awareness and upper body movement are really high level, but other times, he just stands there, upright, eating shots. It's like he has utter contempt for the opponent and forgets to keep a tight defense. I do agree that if he doesn't shore up these gaps in his defense, a higher level opponent will make him pay.

I think the basic gist of his problem is that his head movement is all reactionary instead of being built into some game, sequence, or routine.

Head movement is something he elects to do when he sees the opponent swing at him.

So when he's focused on swarming his opponent with offence, he's not keeping check on their strikes.

Because of this he cannot be offensive and defense at the same time. He can move his head, but only when he's thinking about defense.

This is why he gets cracked in exchanges so much. Mid-range boxing-stuff is his flaw while the clinch-game and kicking-distance stuff was much safer.
