Very interesting matchup!

I am favoring Fiziev, because he is a finisher.

Used to like Gamrot, but he bores me now ... seems to be "an energetic" (but ultimately weak) non-finisher.

I have ZERO interest in watching any impotent, non-finishing fighter waste my time for "the maximum number of rounds" they're scheduled.

Don't get me wrong: if two bad-ass fighters are legit trying to kill each other, but it goes the distance, that's okay. It was an exciting fight.

But the last thing in the world I want to see is a "cautious tactician" try to eke-out a "points victory" ...

Yep I was talking about the Arman fight.

I don't think the Turner fight was a robbery by conceptual judging standards, but it does also further illustrate that a big part of his fighting style against elite fighters results in takedowns with little damage or control stemming from them.

I'd rather they rebook Evloev vs. Mitchell but Ige is a very good test for him. Unless Bryce has moved his training from his backyard to a real MMA gym, I favor Ige in this matchup.

Gamrot is a tough stylistic matchup for Fiziev but he definitely has a shot if he brings the TDD he showed against RDA.

I kind of wish Fiziev would move down to FW. He's a little small for LW and gasses from carrying all that muscle. Less wrestlers to contend with at FW too. Yair vs Fiziev would be fireworks.

I like Fiziev here. I think he'll keep the fight standing and do much better in the striking, as he should. Only thing I question is the cardio is Gamrot can keep the pressure on in the later rounds.

Seems like two classic grappler vs striker fights so I'll take both grapplers to wear down and win these. Especially gamrot over five if he can gas arman he can gas fiz.

originally picked Fiziev then saw this is a 5 round main event. Fiziev will look good early, but I doubt he is putting Gamrot away. Gamrot will likely take rounds 3-5, could even finish late.

Yay I can’t wait to watch Gamrot spam takedowns that go nowhere and land 0 offense while receiving tons of damage but still somehow eeks out a SD win on my favorite fighter.

I actually think Fiziev can get it done vs Gamrot. Yes Gamrot will fight like you say but I think Fiziev will still find success with his striking.
