Question for those Left of center and those in the Center.

I'm pretty disgusted by much of the behavior of the so-called Left these days, but that's not going to make me suddenly vote against healthcare for all people, or stop caring about global warming & the environment.

I would 'cause healthcare for all people is a Pipe-dream, and global warming? Yes, there is global warming but I worry about #1 than that. And the environment is important but again, I worry about #1 and leave it to the environmentalists to worry about that.

Right now, I want the Republicans to find a way to keep the House(I definitely see them keeping the Senate) so that the Left's collective Hive-Mind EXPLODES. <Jaime01><Jaime01><Jaime01>

With the Democrats going even farther Left, the unfounded rape accusations of Kavanaugh, and doubling down on #MeToo, fighting the patriarchy, LGBTQ+agenda, fighting white privilege. Even actions of Leftist protestors lately. How is this got you thinking about your votes in November? Does all this concern you and will it possibly impact your vote?

there are different factions within both parties.

i will not be voting for the nuttier factions on the left. though, i often consider some republicans when voting.

I may as well use this thread to display why I think the following WR posters vote Democrat:

Jack V Savage: Has health issues that he never actually talks about. This is why he is the way he is as a poster. He is against anything that is not socialist in nature and practice. My personal opinion is that Jack has vision problems - he might be legally blind.

Overpressure (different name now?): Exactly the same as Jack V Savage except the health issues are different.

Homer Thompson: Has Iranian ties (Persian and/or Ottoman Empire supremacy). Opposes the state of Israel.

Strychnine: Has experienced racism in his lifetime. Most likely has a large community that he's a part of that is pro-Democrat. Felt empowerment by the Obama presidency.

Fawlty: Probably is a part of a liberal progressive community. Perhaps has a progressive mother. Probably has dated and may be married to a progressive woman. Probably mostly watches CNN and other leftist MSM. Somewhat centrist in some things, still Democrat leaning.

Rational Poster: Likely is part of a mostly non-white community, a number of which are Muslim. Regularly hears their side of the story on world and politics. Also watches mostly CNN and other Democrat news channels.

Luckyshot: Similar to Rational Poster.

ultramanhyata: Latino socialist who watches mostly CNN and other left-wing MSM.

7437: Similar to Homer Thompson

Quipling: Muslim lawyer, similar beliefs when it comes to an Israeli state. Quite centrist but Democrat leanings nonetheless.

Trotsky: Communist, left-coast law school.

44nutman: similar background to Strychnine

sabretruth: similar situation to Fawlty and Rational Poster

Peteyandjia: believes the leftist climate change alarmists profiting off of the global warming propaganda?

Mostly as it relates to Peteyandjia

Thanks for reminding me why I put most of them on Ignore. :p

Turns out I was wrong on some of them.

Sorry guys.

I still think there's something off with JVS. Maybe half-bot. Oh well, I don't want enemies.

I think even a lot of Republicans understand that left-wing economic policies are needed to counter the corporatism which has been pushed by both parties, but especially the Republicans, for the last 40 years or so. I was alienated by the "cultural Marxist" shit, and really I still am, but really it's policy that matters. Democrats are typically better on policy. I would love to see the libertarian left push back against the authoritarian leftists and corporatists, but I realize it isn't a perfect world and will vote for the best candidate even if highly flawed. Gillum has my vote in Florida even though he's sort of a fraud. Much better than "monkeying it up" by voting for DeSantis.

Doesn't it just come down to disagreement? I have different ideas about what the main issues facing the country and how to make things better are so I'm an evil monster or a bot, right?

I would never wish that you couldn't say your mind even if I thought it was dumb. And overall you are quite civil so that's good.

And I have heard that from a lot of people.

It seems that there biggest goal is to see the Left trolled and angry and that means if they have to accept Trump and how unrRepublican and damaging to the country he is that is ok as long as it irritates the Left a lot. Strange times, indeed.

Groups have power WHEN the ones they support and vote attain power. That is how it works. Or you can claim no one has power.

Just because some far right folk support Trump, that doesn't mean the Trump administration is far right. Therefore, the far right has no power. Jesus fucking christ, how are you this fucking dumb?

And no one, NO ONE, complains more about a lack of power than the right, like you on this thread. Imagine having the House, the Senate, the Presidency and the Courts both District and Supreme and yet complaining you have no power. LMFAO. And the nerve to say the side that controls NONE of those power structures complaints more. D'uh.

And while Trump himself is not far right he and his administration are certainly pandering to the far right, and seeking to polarize citizens into far right and left and looking to win the far right vote. It is you who does not understand politics if you are ignorant to that.

You keep switching from "right" to "far right" and then back again, which really shows your lack of coherency & honesty. The Trump administration is not far right, which you admit, and in no way are they "pandering" to the far right, because the "far right" is such a minuscule influence they would have no reason to "pander" to them... "looking to win the far right vote"... yeah, all 500 of them. Good god, you're a joke.

And nowhere in this thread have I complained about the "right" having a lack of power. You're literally just outright lying now. lol

With the Republicans going even farther right wing radical, the legitimate sexual assault allegations against Republican candidates, the (Republican) President being a criminal who conspired to take power with a hostile foreign nation for money, fucking over the middle and lower classes to benefit the wealthiest, fighting equality, has literal Nazi sympathizers and white supremacists in the party. Even actions of Republican protestors lately. How is this got you thinking about your votes in November? Does all this concern you and will it possibly impact your vote?

This is fun Rip. If it wasn't ruining our nation, it would be hilarious just how much fucked up shit Republicans allow their politicians to pull. You literally put a conspiracy theorist, draftdodging, criminal who asked a hostile nation to commit a cyber attack against the United States into the White House. Donald Trump is one of the biggest pieces of shit in the United States and you know it.

It's funny to me how everyone is bitching about the race in Georgia because of Stacey having not voted for a bill against human trafficking, which includes mandatory minimums for regular prostitution and your President fucked prostitutes his entire life. Bunch of fucking hypocrites.

Trump personally may not be far right and in fact he is likely not 'right' at all but his politicals absolutely cater to the right and 'far right'. The far right loves him, feels emboldened by him, cheer him on loudly and verbally while saying he is giving them a voice again or other such statements.

So sorry not only are you wrong but you are stupid.

I will never vote for a Democrat again (have many times in the past) unless that INDIVIDUAL publicly openly states that he is against this madness and actually says he is against the Q+ community FULLY, radical feminism FULLY, illegals (while saying he is for massive reform of current laws to make it easier to enter)and must state that there is NO PATRIARCHY, rape culture or white privilege, and that people are INNOCENT until proven guilty. In other words, not be a Democrat since that is pretty much impossible right now.

And I will not vote for another Democrat for president until the entire DNC chair is replaced and super delegates are removed, they have proven that they will not allow the people to actually choose.

This does not mean I will be voting Republican either and I can safely say that I actually do not know of any single other people that called themselves liberal 4 years ago that is not now either calling themselves classical liberal or not liberal at all since it no longer means remotely what it did not long ago.

It's odd how you accuse the left of being a hive mind while the right has fallen lock step behind a populist, and the left has had a schism between it's progressive wing and the old guard.

The American left should really have a lot to sell me:

- Harmony among people

- Economic fairness

- Protection from corruption

What am I seeing instead? The monument to race, class, and gender has ignored class equality and adopted new and illiberal ideas about race and gender, this almost Maoist obsession with destroying the building blocks of society and replacing them with new, empowered forms of racism and sexism are something I will not buy.

LMAO look at these mental gymnastics. Comical.

The far right loves him

Some do, some don't. Many on the far right just think he's another puppet of the globalists.

feels emboldened by him, cheer him on loudly and verbally while saying he is giving them a voice again or other such statements.

Hollow, meaningless rhetoric.

So sorry not only are you wrong but you are stupid.

Oh dear, what a pathetic little whiny cry baby you are. LOL

My point stands strong: the far right has no power. The end.

I didn't vote for Hillary and don't generally vote for Dems, but will be voting for Dems this election, only cause Trump does need some balancing forces.

One could say the same thing about the cultural revolution of the 60s, that the left whittled away at the building blocks of society . But in the end America emerged a better place, though those on the Alt-Right would disagree.

Ya you are just being stupid. The far right has the President they want and they cheer him and state they feel emboldened by him. They have the courts they want at the State and Supreme level. They have the House and Senate they want. And yet they cry victim over and over that they are victims with no power just as you are doing. lol. What more can they have?

They have the courts they want at the State and Supreme level. They have the House and Senate they want.

Actually, they don't. As with the President, they have the least worst option. In reality, if the far right could choose exactly who they wanted, Trump wouldn't even break into the top 1000. The far right would choose ACTUAL far right-wingers. You even admitted Trump isn't far right, or even right-wing. So what are you arguing about again? Oh that's right... absolutely NOTHING. You just don't want to concede you're wrong.

And yet they cry victim over and over that they are victims with no power just as you are doing. lol. What more can they have?

The far right has no power. You're just repeating yourself now. lol
