PWD 265: In Mickey Gall We Trust

I never liked Big Show or Kane
Brock, Bruiser Brody and Terry Gordy were better imo

I feel like Yoko fell into that "pretty good for such a big dude" category early on in his WWF career, but then he just kept kept fatter and slower and didn't do anything.

IIRC, this got A LOT of cheers.

For some people ITT, Rusev is the hero that this thread needs and deserves:

Yoko was a very safe worker by all accounts except for a botched Bonzai drop.

Terry Gordy, Brock Lesnar, and Bruiser Brody are all the guys I consider that borderline although a case can easily be made for Brody as he was a tall guy at around 6'6-6'7".

Kane and Big Show, for legit 6'10-7' guys, they could move and boy they could work.

A legit 7' around 400lbs

It got even worse when he decided "I'm gonna try to become the heaviest wrestler of all time", and was trying to get to 900lbs.

Was Yoko a "good worker"? I remember him having about as much in ring ability as Khali. Only thing as kid I can ever remember him doing were splashes and Bonzai drops.

Today, he would be boo'd out of the building for having like 3 moves, but back then, he was pretty damn good. The guy was legit 400+ pounds of pure jelly, but he could somehow move around pretty well. He was WAY better than Khali.

So, whilst Big E is WWE's Undisputed Twitter World Champion (with Owens and Rusev the US and IC Champions), I think Cena is WWE's Instagram Champion, who has decided that his Instagram is basically 9GAG at this point.

One time there was some kind of run-in mess of people in the ring and Ahmed slammed Yoko. My sister happened to be in the room at the time and looked up from whatever she was doing and goes: "Did he just pick up that fat thing?"

Khali, for being a big scary guy, was kind of like a baby deer in that it always looked like his legs might just snap and he'd collapse under the weight of his own awfulness.

Khali had the same condition that Big Show, however, Big Show lucked out with his like a motherfucker. Whereas Khali just got the massive jaw, hands and extreme height.

Yeah, it boggles my mind how he even got hired. I'm mean sure, he's impressive to look at, but the guy couldn't even take a bump. I don't know what Vince doesn't understand about those guys being a big waste of time. Didn't they make him Champion at one time too? Jesus Christ, I'm glad I wasn't watching back then.

9gag is for jabronies.

They wanted to tap the Indian market

Yeah, he was SD champion, I think. I wasn't watching then either.

I feel like they built an entire match around him, the Punjabi Prison Match, and he got hurt and they had it be Taker vs. Show instead.
