Well the ref should have stopped the fight 3-4 punches earlier than he did, then Smith landed another 3 big shots after the ref finally attempted to stop the fight.

So pretty lame all around.

Then you have Anik the retard blaming the ref when he tried to stop the beating and then Smith just kept on punching.

Ref had to drag him off then shove him and he still looked like he was ready to pounce back in there to land more shots.

The ref was face to face with him, trying to block his arms and he still landed two full shots after that. The ref fucked up and was late, but he was absolutely right to be pissed at Smith for basically fighting through the ref to land those last two shots.

I thought the stoppage in the Leon Edwards fight was worse. Slam KO'd, heads collide on the slam, major injury to her shoulder, she's out cold, woken back up by punches, gets tko'd by more punches, then choked out.

She beat the shit out of that girl .. the super rare highly entertaining girl fight

Early stoppages always have that "what if?"

Late stoppages leave no doubt on who won
