Matt Reeves just might not be that guy for massive projects like this. I remember the stories after he took over the project from Ben Affleck with Reeves taking like 2 years to get a script approved and then throwing a fit and threatening to walk if he didn't have complete creative control. Then there were the stories of him and Pattinson fighting on set and Pattinson calling him a control freak. I remember one story of Pattinson supposedly wanting to throw hands with Reeves cause Reeves kept wanting to film the same scene dozens of times because he would get OCD about the scene and never think it was good enough.

Penguin was so good they have to rewrite the movie around it.

It was a good show. Choking Vic was the right move for business. Sappy shit with Batman villains didn’t work for me brotha, murderers, all of them. Do it right or don’t do it at all. Liked all 8 eps a lot but Victor was enhancement and felt like an HBO limited series trope

DC did a 12 issue Penguin series that just wrapped up a few months ago, I collected it, but haven’t gotten to it yet… the Batman universe has provided a decent offering in 2024 if you are following the right titles. Detective Comics has been okay, Absolute Batman is insane, last chapter of Long Halloween is in progress, a really cool Batman Dark Patterns graphic just began, Gotham by Gaslight 2, Allwinter (more about Slade), Nightwing Fall of Grayson 1-5 arc, haven’t checked it out but Poison Ivys solo ongoing is apparently going pretty strong…

Forgive me if I sound a touch like a mark, I only came back to comics I wanna say in 2021, took a 15+ plus year break minus a few name graphic novels I could likely count on one hand.

I’m glad DC occasionally puts something good live action out still, because I haven’t been a huge fan of much of the big stuff outside Keaton and Begins. Peacemaker was a lighthearted good time, but I also didn’t really care about the stakes. Slacking on doom patrol. Love the animated universe, minus a few dingleberry projects in that category.

Thats dope, to answer your question Michigan is the greatest football team in history and thats a shoot, they have won more football games than any other team ever, college or professional, and they are coming off of one of the all time greatest wins in the history of this fine business and thats also a shoot

The Colorado game is bout to start right now and Coach Prime is doing something that almost no other team has been able to do, he has all his stars that are headed to the NFL as first round draft picks in a few months suited up and eager to play in this game tonight, thats a rarity these days

That's neat. I don't watch much college ball but I really liked how he talked to his team in that IG post. Reminds me how i talk to my sons. These young men need leaders not just friends. And it seems to be paying off for that program. Ya love to see it.
