You think it’s that easy?!

I went out and got a bit of sun today for the first time in weeks!
Only stayed out 20 minutes cause the clouds were interfering but it was better than nothing and I am thankful for every bit of it

🥰 🥰 🥰 🥰

I'm really pale right now, Pete. My beautiful brown Aztec skin has turned to ash! Call me Ghost Rex.

The Resurrection of Jake the Snake (2015)

So this is a pro wrestling documentary featuring Jake Roberts, DDP and Scott Hall. The plot is simply Jake in the rehabilitating process and his motivational interactions with DDP. The dietary food plan sort of lost me and never tied in.

In the final act, Jake is carrying the golden axe with an Old School Monday Night Raw appearance and a Hall of Fame induction. Jake regains his mojo. I recommend the film, I liked DDP and came away with even more respect for him afterward

Oh @Pliny Pete since I'm graced with your presence. Do you remember this slapper from '84? Came up randomly when I was driving back from LA the other day. Loving that 80s vibe! What a voice! GOD!

I fucking love this song!!
Her haunting voice over those new wave synth beats is such a perfect 80's song, takes you right back to those cocaine filled disco's up and down Los Angeles imo

Never heard of it.

Lotta people tried shenanigans over the years, starting all the way back in 1935 when Joe Malciewicz took the territory from Jack Ganson and then 25 years later Roy Shire, backed by Jim Barnett, took it from Malciewicz
Bob Roop, Blackjack Mulligan & Dick Murdoch from Amarillo, Ed Francis from Hawaii, Terry Garvin was even running Santa Rosa!
Antone Leone was running an indy circuit in the 80's before Verne and then Vince took over
Ole Anderson tried, Poffo ICW planned a show
Lotta drama in this little slice of paradise

I was born in 86 so I didn't really live the 80s but maybe since I was born in it there is some kind of spiritual connection there. I always loved 80s music and movies and the whole energy. My mom playing 80s music all the time tweaked out of her mind probably had a big influence too lmao. But it does seem that the 80s seems to be a universally loved decade. Lot of soul during that time, no doubt about it.
