News James Van Der Beek dead

The wealthy have taken a tool meant to help the downtrodden and turned it into a PR/money making machine for themselves (and to keep their lifestyle afloat) like it's absolutely normal behaviour. Sickening stuff imo. Even more pathetic are the plebs who donate when they can barely afford rent.

Yeah, don't want to be cynical, but kinda feels this was a pre planned situation, to ensure an already affluent family could maintain an opulent life style for years to come.

Same time, 10 miles down the street, due to unforeseen circumstances, a widow will be struggling to keep food on the plate for the next week.

Sad he's died and left his family behind and all, but a gofundme to keep people in a mansion is just... there aren't even words. There's people getting put out on the street right now because they can't pay rent.

A gofundme after they just purchased a $5 mil Texas ranch a month ago.

Yea I was talking to my wife about this. I don't really care but I'm sure as hell not donating to it. I don't donate to any gofundme honestly. I have to make sure me and my family are good and then prepare for any future emergencies we might have. I'm way to frugal and paranoid with my money to just hand it away like that.
